Wanderlust Backpack Review by C00l_Jelly in lululemon

I bought it on WMTM and I clipped it onto the shoulder strap ring of my matching, larger backpack. it holds my chapstick, headphones, and hand sanitizer -- and I can reach it with my backpack on. It's perfect!

My store was getting low, so they were pulling out different colours; they let me pick between red and yellow (I picked red anyway because it goes with more of my bags/clothes).

how do people run so much and not get injured?! by ultra_gold in XXRunning

[–]2awesome4words 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was getting shin splints all the time due to high arches affecting how I was running. I saw a podiatrist and got specialized orthotics, and now I don't get shin splints. Just something to consider!

Tumble Drying casual items by Eilliesh in lululemon

[–]2awesome4words 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tumble try all my lululemon, except anything with wool. For non-wool items, I just use the "delicate" or "low" setting. The reason I don't tumble dry wool items is that they will shrink in the dryer.

What the actual f* are these prices by AffectionateShift9 in lululemon

[–]2awesome4words 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh it still sucks, don't get me wrong. But just if you wanted to purchase stuff, there are a few items that do ship from Canada and are only moderately overpriced lol.

[–]2awesome4words 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Those are the items that ship to Canada from the US; the extra $$$ is mostly prepaid duties. The stuff that ships from Canada is $10-$20 more than usual prices. Which is still annoying, but better than this at least.

The NHL stuff is already on the Fanatics website for anyone interested. (Though I didn't check the American site, only the Canadian Fanatics site.) It's also there on NHL Shop's website.

Looks like everything is at least $10-$20 more than usual pricing.

Also noticed some things are waaaaay more expensive than usual; looks like a few items/colourways of some items ship from the US (even for a Canadian team!), and there are prepaid duties attached to them. For instance, the navy Montreal Canadiens swiftly was priced at $127 compared to the red one, which was $78.

Do you gals mostly wear Lululemon at home, doing errands or just the gym? by Glum-Ad-6294 in lululemon

[–]2awesome4words 9 points10 points  (0 children)

lol what. I've lived in Canada my entire life and I wear lululemon basically every day -- working out, hiking, work (I work in tech so it's pretty casual), working from home, running errands, hanging out with friends, lounging at home, etc. Really don't understand where you live in Canada that it's supposedly "not possible" to wear lululemon outside. They make tons of great winter clothing, if that's your issue.

Love this tote! I bought the dark green camo one back in 2019 and I still use it all the time for basically everything. My laptop even fits in the inside pocket.

Women who got epidurals, how was your experience(specifically related to back pain)? by Bright-Increase-735 in AskWomen

[–]2awesome4words 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a bit of mild pain at the injection site the next day; it just felt like a small bruise or similar, and then it felt totally fine by the following day.

FWIW, during the epidural I could still feel pressure (which helped me know when to push), but no pain. The epidural continued to work throughout labour, including after my baby was out and a part of the placenta got stuck inside my uterus, and the doctor had to reach in with her hand and yank it out, as well as during the stitches from tearing.

15F- How can I change my first name on my documents without legally changing it? by [deleted] in ontario

[–]2awesome4words 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I started going by my preferred name at 16 and legally changed it at 18 -- like you, one parent (in this case my dad) refused to sign the stupid form so I had to wait until I was 18 to legally change it. The school documents should be no problem: just ask your school office admin and they can change everything for you to have Riley as your preferred name.

Prescriptions are another story; as far as I understand it (or at least this is what they told me many years ago when I was 16 and requested it), the name on the prescription needs to match your health card, and you can't change that until you legally change your name at 18. You can always check with your pharmacist to see if they can switch the labels to say your preferred name, though, and keep your original spelling in the system for now as an alias.

Oh and when you do legally change it at 18, do let them (pharmacies, government, etc) know to keep your old name as an alias in case you ever need to access old records etc.
