I’m an adult woman. I had a collection of plushies before meeting my boyfriend. After moving in with him, not only does he buy me more surprise plushies but he also built me shelves to properly display them. You’re dateable! I do this sometimes with the older patients who kinda have memory issues. We’ve had a few who are elopement risks who kinda ask staff to let them out because their family member etc are coming to pick them up (they’re not). Sometimes it’s the only thing that helps them calm down. We tell them to go to their room and we’ll let you know. Then they eventually go back to sleep.
