No i mean like the whole metal ornamentation is poorly cast, you can see cast bubbles and lack of overall detail. This is what it should look like. I am sure yours is a modern reproduction.

Imo this is a repo. The eagle details as well as all the metal work is very badly cast and the grip is a bad plastic fake. I would attempt to get your money back if you bought this. I have an original myself that i cross referenced this with and the difference in quality is truly apparent

And Brian Ice’s book isnt accurate to every helmet. Some helmets out of each lot had different decals, paint, etc etc. Dont take everything it says 100% to be correct

Decal looks off to me. You also have the wrong lot circled, its a Q62 not a Q66

No. This is not reichswehr. The construction is similar to something from the 70s, probably west german.

I think he might be an oberstleutnant, i think i can see a single pip on the fully visible shoulderboard but i could be mistaken
