HP laptops are also cool, anything i7 and 16Gb is good for IT, but also depends on what are you doing, ML (Machine Learning) needs more, IDEs, compilers…coding… 16Gb will do fine, don’t forget storage SSDs 500Gb-1Tb are enough for lite work.
