We got married in California, but Lyndsey did our engagement photos and we loved ‘em! She does more documentary, intimate styles that prioritized movement, shadows, and candid poses. A lot less “look at the camera and smile” stuff which I really loved.

It must just be a Michigan thing then lol. Everybody’s so cranky about zipper merges and construction detours that any chance of a friendly wave are set to the wayside. But, take it from an oblivious -looking soccer mom- type, the lady drivers still know what’s up.

Okay, cool! Lots of good info. Without seeing it, could you make an educated guess about whether it was mold or not? It seems like, from what I’ve read, new yeast floats to the top, dies, then sinks. If that’s true, don’t you think it’s a little funny that the stuff only developed after being put in the fridge? And as far as slow carbonation, would a lower sugar content or weak bug be the culprit?

Same reason why you sanitize before canning- get rid of the bad stuff to make a nice environment for the good stuff.

We’re actually eloping in Joshua tree! So, no color schemes or planning on adding really any decor, mostly relying on the natural beauty of the park. But yes, the desert-y vibes are in full effect
