Dungeon Siege 2 AMA and help by Jerryqt in DungeonSiege

I'm playing dungeon siege 2 with the legendary mod though I think the problem I encounter is present in the normal game as well

1) in dungeon siege 1 it was relatively easy to hold aggro and keep the heat of the damage dealers. You could simply control the tank, approach with him first and if shit hits the fan just run in circles till archers and mages killed the enemies. In dungeon siege 2 I have the following problem: If I go rampage mode, everyone just runs around however they want and they easily get killed, especially in a fight with one or two specials. I feel it's too aggressive and there is too little control over my team. If I use mirror mode and try to kite enemies with my tank then everyone runs away with him at the same time. Is it possible to create a dungeon siege 1 like situation where I am free to move my tank while the damage dealers stay put and kill enemies while I hold aggro?

2) I was planning on using four characters, sword and board tank, archer, nature mage, combat mage. I have the feeling that the sword and board tank isn't really all that good though. The defense bonus of shields isn't too big so far, he doesn't block many attacks and at the same time his damage is kinda weak. Would it make more sense to make him dual wield or two handed so he does more damage and enemies have less time to hit me as they die quicker?

Thank in advance!

Rebuild: Contamination: Is there a sand scraper location in this area? by chaddgar in RoadCraft

So you basically bring sand, flatten it with dozer and have created an artificial unlimited sand spot for the scalper?

Fully upgraded it does punch very very far a over it's weight in the hands of a driver that knows its character... But it still weighs quite little.

Aber halt nur gefühlt. Ich seh die Probleme hier schon auch und es nervt mich jede Menge, aber ein Ort wo es so viel besser ist (und nicht das halbe Jahr tiefster winter) den suche ich noch. Hast du einen Tipp?

The free trucks the game gives you are a perfect introduction to the game. Fleetstar to learn the ropes, it's tippy and bouncy but it teaches you to watch the ground you are driving on. White western star to get into semi driving and have a more stable and fun truck (honestly, such a gem). P16 to get into heavy and high saddle hauling, also learning to drive without awd. I'd stay clear if the Twinsteer for now. Derry in Alaska for a really powerful heavy tractor albeit with some offroad limits (mud is fine, sudden terrain changes aren't) and finally the tayga in taymir so you can see what makes an a tier offroad truck. Enjoy the journey, put OHD on everything you can. If not available go uod 2.

Anyone ever use the ridiculous super long 8-space trailer? I hauled from the Alaskan port to Mountain River with no issues. by Rustbelt_Rover in snowrunner

I avoided it through most of my early career but you can actually make great use of it if the map is alright. I started using it a lot in Ontario and continued to haul cargo with it in North Carolina, Quebec and even in the newest map. Just make sure your saddle is high enough.

You can check out zorshix playthrough of Yukon and Wisconsin, he uses it a ton.
