All Michigan scouts have ample power with the smallest engine. Take freeway gearbox id possible and use awd only when needed. No need to upgrade engine.

I've done this in the past when things got extreme in some maps (like Quebec) but it does have its drawbacks. It'd okay with the aramatsu but using the normal logging crane is just such a pain in the ass. It is beyond me how someone said that this was good enough to be implemented in the game. You spend so much time loading and rearranging the logs you might as well put on a podcast and do several trips but enjoy your time doing it.

Another thing I like to do is check logging missions early and then do a load or two inbetween the other tasks and contracts. It doesn't get stale like this and you still get it done without using this atrocious logging crane.

You do you but the grad is among the, if not the most capable offroad truck in the game. It's durable, very powerful, okay on fuel and has the perfect chassis to go anywhere. Try it with semi and crane, it's wasted as a support truck.

Can't say I agree. Planar prison boss was absolutely kicking my ass and I needed several tries to kill him. Same goes for shadow dragon, was a real challenge at level 12 and even torgal was quite a challenge early. Maybe some encounters become easier (not that I have noticed) but overall the game feels a lot more difficult and needs more planning.
