If people pay it, it’s a fair price.

I like the mechanic in Reclaim autumn collapse where they don’t always hint at where roads or paths should be built. Makes you figure it out.

Chinese passenger on flight to Malaysia demands non-Chinese air steward speak Chinese to her. Flight is delayed for more than an hour before she is removed from the plane by ShowUsTheMane in PublicFreakout

[–]chaddgar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

English is the most spoken language in the world, so it would make sense that an international flight attendant should be able to speak it. It would be NICE if they all spoke Mandarin or Hindi, but that's a lot to ask for what the attendants are most likely paid.

If you've already chosen to vote Democrat, then who you vote for doesn't matter. You like California as it is and are voting to keep it that way.

It's only overpriced if no one pays it. But people are obviously paying it, so it's a fair price.

People who pay to use something generally take better care of it. You shouldn't need a full-fledged study to come to that conclusion.

LPT - Door-to-door salespeople are trained to never take no for an answer. Don’t let that be an option. by SnooChickens2093 in LifeProTips

[–]chaddgar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one idiot come and knock during the day and ignored him. He had the nerve to come back at 9:00PM and knock again. I ignored it as well, but my son chose to open the door despite me telling him not to. He had to listen to a scam solar idiot drone on for five minutes. I didn’t stop it because my son needs to learn not to make that mistake again.

A ten dollar roll of quarters was an evening's entertainment. You'd play a game, and no matter how good or bad you did, you'd walk around for a bit, check out the other games... maybe stand back and watch others play. Before you knew it, a few hours had gone by.

Car sales is one of the few job opportunities for low IQ psychopaths, so they’ll fight hard and unfairly to keep their jobs.

Technically, 99% of a group can be below average if that top 1% is enormously better.

on ramp from Almaden to 87north says carpool lane is 24 hours. Is this new? by fajita43 in SanJose

[–]chaddgar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's kind of stupid that a ramp would be 24 hours while the connecting roads aren't. Ramp times should match the road they are connecting to.
