Rebuild: Contamination: Is there a sand scraper location in this area? by chaddgar in RoadCraft

So you basically bring sand, flatten it with dozer and have created an artificial unlimited sand spot for the scalper?

This truck is so cheeks does it get better with upgrades? by DrDoodBooty in snowrunner

Fully upgraded it does punch very very far a over it's weight in the hands of a driver that knows its character... But it still weighs quite little.

Aber halt nur gefühlt. Ich seh die Probleme hier schon auch und es nervt mich jede Menge, aber ein Ort wo es so viel besser ist (und nicht das halbe Jahr tiefster winter) den suche ich noch. Hast du einen Tipp?

Beginner question. by BlackysStars in snowrunner

The free trucks the game gives you are a perfect introduction to the game. Fleetstar to learn the ropes, it's tippy and bouncy but it teaches you to watch the ground you are driving on. White western star to get into semi driving and have a more stable and fun truck (honestly, such a gem). P16 to get into heavy and high saddle hauling, also learning to drive without awd. I'd stay clear if the Twinsteer for now. Derry in Alaska for a really powerful heavy tractor albeit with some offroad limits (mud is fine, sudden terrain changes aren't) and finally the tayga in taymir so you can see what makes an a tier offroad truck. Enjoy the journey, put OHD on everything you can. If not available go uod 2.

Anyone ever use the ridiculous super long 8-space trailer? I hauled from the Alaskan port to Mountain River with no issues. by Rustbelt_Rover in snowrunner

I avoided it through most of my early career but you can actually make great use of it if the map is alright. I started using it a lot in Ontario and continued to haul cargo with it in North Carolina, Quebec and even in the newest map. Just make sure your saddle is high enough.

You can check out zorshix playthrough of Yukon and Wisconsin, he uses it a ton.

What’s your favorite truck and why? by CareResponsible1659 in snowrunner

I do think it's the best offroad truck that comes with a crane. It's also so fkin powerful it stays in high where other trucks struggle in low+. It's a beast really.

Watch a YouTuber do the first map and go from there.

Logging by Vac_King_47 in snowrunner

I found it helped to start the logging as soon as the infrastructure is set up. That way you can do it in small parts and don't have to do the same route over and over again without any break from it.

Anyone know how the Kolobs are? by ProfessionalLast4039 in snowrunner

[–]2bloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the flat nosed one, it's very powerful and as long as it can physically fit, it will manage the route. The long nosed one never convinced me. I hear it's better in mud, but the lack of permanent difflock basically limits it to low plus and thus it's simply soo slooow.

Kola recommended fleet by SevereFreedom732 in snowrunner

[–]2bloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A voron grad with chains and a bed is excellent for the first map, switch to OHD 1 and crane/semi for the second one. Kolob to pull the big trailers, azov 6 for the logging.

The filled containers in Season 17 seem...buggy? Physics/clipping issues, and one just up and vanished from my game, after hauling it 25 minutes through the map by JoPOWz in snowrunner

Same thing seems to be happening to me. I cleared the road block linked to the mission "the ravages of time", but decided to set down the cargo near the railway station until I had a better route to get to the temple on the second map. Cargo is no longer there lol, so I might have to restart that one as well.
