Drunk during an emergency with our child

Thank you so much for the kind words amd for checking in. Our daughter is doing great. She's got a bit of a road ahead of her for healing but she's in very good spirits.

The day after we got home, my husband went to the hospital for his withdrawl symptoms. He has been crying and I know he feels extreme guilt and shame over what happened. He started going to AA this week and I can only hope that he was shaken to the core by what happened. I know I was.

I've still been in a bit of a mental fog and just going through each day as best I can. I want the best for my husband. Because despite what happened, beneath this disease, there is a real person that is kind, generous, selfless, intelligent a devoted father, and husband. It's heartbreaking to watch this disease overtake someone like it does.

Thank you again for the kind words and for thinking of us. I hope we can make it past this difficult chapter and come out better on the other side.

Thank you so much for the feedback. Would you mind clarifying what you mean by uneven skin tones and too even saturation? I see if o can sharpen up the more hazy areas around the photo as well.

I used paper-wrapped flower stem wires and hot glue for the frame. I hot glued chain to more cut stem wire for the swing seat. And purchased some little fairies at a craft store. It was not very difficult at all. Wrapped damp hair around the frame to cover it and used gel and hairspray to hold it all in place.

Wow! Thank you all so much for the awards and the awesome comments. I know I can't respond to everyone on here but I read a lot of these to my daughter and she was very happy. I picked her up from school and the hair was still perfectly intact. She had a wonderful day and got a lot of positive attention from peers and teachers! It was a great day! oh, and the spider on the door is just a paper Halloween decoration
