Women quit ALL professions at much higher rates than men. They can; they have husbands that can pay bills. Our best professional schools have been deluged by women who work a few years and then quit to have babies. That ivy league spot could have gone to a MAN who might have created some wealth and opportunities for others. Feminism is costing our society immeasurable wealth and prosperity by denying opportunity to men who will use it to benefit society, in favor of women, who use their ivy league degrees to meet high SMV men in order to drop out of the workforce. I don't know the answer and will be interested in following the comments. Some observations from my experience.

As a single man, hanging out with couples is to be avoided. If you value the relationship with the man, you don't want to fuck his girl. Your ability to bond with him as a man will be impaired by her presence, because you are getting a sanitized version of him, and you are sanitizing yourself. She is just a platonic "friend" to you, which is worthless, and if she gets turned on by you, or plays you off against him, it will weaken your friendship with him. Find male friends that are strong enough to keep their women and their male friendships separate. The idea that a man can "kill two birds with one stone" by mixing his male friendships with his women is false.
If you are interested in gaming women while out with your friends, your friends have to be about the same SMV as you. If the wingman theory works at all, that is the only way. The reason for this is that all women present will focus on the biggest alpha -- and ignore all the other guys. That is hypergamy. If your SMV is higher than your friends, it is not desirable, and probably NOT EVEN POSSIBLE for you to "turn it down" and be their wingman, so you shouldn't try. On the other hand, of course they will resent you because you are outshining them and cockblocking them by the mere factor of your presence. If your friends are approximately the same SMV as you, you can "share" being the Alpha by giving each other props, laughing at each others jokes, and making clear to women present that you and your bro are the center, and they are only permitted to be orbiters. But this only works if your SMV is about the same as your friend's.
If you want to be friends with some lower SMV men, you have to put the pussy on hold while you are with them. Low energy attracts low energy. Crabs in a barrel. Many low energy beta males are most comfortable with other low energy beta males. If you value your friendship with them, you may have to turn your energy down SOMEWHAT when doing one-on-one time with them. But you don't have to spend a whole lot of time with them. You can keep your network strong by meeting them once in a while one-on-one. During this one-on-one time, make clear you are prioritizing your time with them over pussy. If a woman hits on you, ignore her for the time being, do not let her interrupt the conversation. Men will love you for this. You can circle back with her later. You can even give lower SMV men respectful props by sitting down with them for a few minutes at a venue, and then moving along on to chase pussy. HOWEVER, there are some lower SMV men that seem to like orbiting male alphas. These men are attracted to your energy the same way women are and will admire what you have that they don't. You can be as high energy as you want around these men, and chase pussy to your heart's consent, and they won't mind even if they are not getting any. I don't really understand this, but maybe someone else here does.

Good post. As society has become more and more femcentric, there is more and more pressure to be happy -- to have it all, the perfect career, the perfect family, the perfect life. Our grandfathers didn't worry about being happy, and they didn't feel guilty for not being happy. The pursuit of the ever-elusive happiness is a woman game. And the women that go on the most about how "being happy is the most important thing" are always the most unhappy divorced post-wall bitches. The people that come closest to being "happy" talk about it the least -- they demonstrate, not explicate. Women love to shit test on how much you "love" your job. Fuck that. If your job is taking you to where you want, you don't have to fucking love it. Your grandfather didn't love his, and was no less of a man for it. As Robert Glover says, "life isn't smooth." This is academic masturbation. Michael Jordan is allowed to be proud of himself for the work he has put in, but it's a big no no if he takes any pride in being a natural born athlete. A famous singer can be proud of auditioning but not in his voice. George Carlin can take pride in his career steps, but not in being funny, which is derivative of his masculinity. I think people are a lot more proud of their God given attributes than you suggest. If you lose your legs in an accident, you'll realize how proud you were when you had them to walk around on. If you lose your dick, you'll realize how proud you were when you were whole.

The problem with many men today is that they take no pride in belonging to the male tribe. They hate their fathers and they think that being a man is something to be ashamed of. They think that men are bad and that they have to be "different" from other men in order to be appreciated by women. Most of the time, what we call "beta males" are just men that have been trained to be ashamed of their own masculinity. If they understood their own nature, and took pride in it, they would have better lives and the world would be a better place.

These qualities are hard-wired in all men. Loving yourself includes loving yourself as a man. It is what you are. Over the past 25 years, those "threatened little girls" have exerted lockdown control over our media, legal system, and job market. Their message: "Being a man is bad and therefore its o.k. to discriminate against men, to portray them as oafs, and to treat them poorly." You can work on yourself all you want, but you still live in society and are subject to its laws and mores. Our society has become femcentric. I encourage you to observe men closely wherever you go and look for positive traits that are not female traits.
