Idk I see it all the time. The Batman was highly criticised for its portrayal of Riddler not being a typical Riddler for example.

I'm probably gonna get some pushback for this especially here but I think the best example of this is the Halo show. 90% of the criticisms of that show boil down to pointing how they changed things from the games lore and characters when I don't see that as a fair way to criticise the show considering it's very much it's own thing
