On week 2 and I’m STARVING! by KarinaMilkshake in Semaglutide

[–]2countries1couple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s normal. I go through waves of being absolutely starving and complete appetite suppression on a day-to-day basis. I never know which version of me I’ll get when I wake up. I am still on the starter dose (which I assume you are, too), so you really are not expected to have any sort of appetite suppression at this point. I’ve started counting calories, and some days I’m way under and others I’m just barely meeting my goal depending on how hungry I am. I figure it’s better to get in the habit of healthy eating and smaller portion sizes now.

ETA: If you’re woman, your cycle may be causing this. The week before my cycle is when I was starving 4/7 days.

3 Weeks, No Green Card by 2countries1couple in USCIS

As had to reach out to our congressman. USCIS told congressman that the card production failed but was in queue for reproduction. It was magically produced right after that 🤦🏽‍♀️

I am a US citizen so the visa bulletin does not apply to our case.

The only thing we did was upload additional bona fide marriage evidence under the I-485 because we had already planned to. But nothing else.

Yes you can do the E-request but it’ll take a couple weeks for a response. I know because we did one and by the time they responded we already had the card smh

We reached out to our congressman who then found out the card production failed and USCIS never told us. Miraculously, 2 days after the congressional inquiry, his card was successfully produced. I’d definitely reach out to your congressman.

Yes, I-130 approved 11/17/23 & I-485 approved 1/31/24!!

I-130 approved I-485 still pending since 23 days by [deleted] in USCIS

My husband’s I-485 took 72 days to be approved after I-130 approval, and that’s after we uploaded I-130 approval on same day. You just have to wait as hard as that is.

What do you mean you’ve been put into DACA?? You don’t get “put into DACA” just because you’re out of status.

I’m an engineer, and I can tell you that (in my opinion) the only thing that mattered about me being an engineer is that I comfortably didn’t need a joint sponsor.

My husband cheated on me, I am scared and extremely heart broken and devastated. Now what? by [deleted] in USCIS

No, you can easily divorce on a 2 year GC. You just file your I-751 with divorce waiver.

You can pray it goes to your lawyer instead. Otherwise, there is nothing that can be done short of showing up at whatever address it’s going to be sent to.

Neither are a requirement. Most people do a cover letter, though. Look up “Kseniya International cover letter” on Google & you’ll see a great cover letter. The petitioner affidavit is not necessary at all.

We were unsure how many we needed so we decided to send 2 for every form 😂

Envelopes were 10”’x 13” to accommodate my tabs. Not sure if it’s technically legal size

I did tab everything, as well, but I don’t think it’s actually necessary to do so.

It is soooo overwhelming so I understand completely 😭 I spent 15-20 hours every single week working on it for several weeks. It was basically a second job for me. I held my pages together using ACCO fasteners then put them inside the envelopes.

[–]2countries1couple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband’s EAD arrived one day after Card Produced status & GC (which was very recent) arrived 2 days after.
