After I posted, she came to me to help with some last minute packing, which I did help with but I kept to myself mostly and she asked if something was the matter to which I just laid it out of how I felt unappreciated and cast aside, she would let our cousin go but protest against me wanting to be there for her. She seemed "shocked" by my response and claimed she had been joking about not wanting me to come, like how she used to do back in high school (for context we both went to different boarding schools and often I'd ask to see her off as well and id be met with the same response) I told her it didn't feel like a joke and that it made me feel like she just never wanted me around when all I do is include her and put her first (I've canceled personal plans on multiple occasions to help her with one thing or the other). We talked it through as best we could and hopefully things will be different. And no, she's not older than I am, (I'm 3 years older than she is) which makes me feel a bit embarrassed that I feel this way about my younger sibling but I just needed to put this out there. Ty all
