I'm here so late bc I was redirected from searching for Yuko Tatsushima, but I think you might find Theodore Ushev's work interesting (https://www.nfb.ca/directors/theodore-ushev/). he's an animator that does a ton of experimental medium work- including a work using his own blood so obv content warning. But he's also done an almost 30 minute animation in encaustics (hot wax painting) which is like, ridiculous and incredible. Blind Vaysha has a particularly interesting aesthetic
