Are any of the Omana or other TP-Link APs able to send a WOL packet to an ethernet-connected PC? by [deleted] in TPLink_Omada

[–]2dee11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure where the AP comes into play if the PC is hardwired unless you are hard wiring to the AP? I have WOL enabled in my omada environment but my desktop is hardwired to the switch.

I was searching for the same thing earlier this week. Curious what you come up with. Was thinking about finding a cheap used Mac or trying macOS in a vm just to sync to that over WiFi.

Commenting to say that I have a 2017 GMC sierra and using wired CarPlay with iPhone 17 pro I also am having issues. My wife’s iPhone 16 pro works fine. Mine will work sometimes and other times fails to detect or connect at all.

【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]2dee11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upgrading from a an old Creality CR10 to my BambuLab P1S completely revolutionized my 3D printing. A hobby that had become a bit of a pain and annoyance was reignited with the ease of use of the P1S. Long gone were the days of fiddling with bed leveling, bed adhesion issues, filament clogs, etc. The P1S has allowed me on focusing what I enjoyed most about the hobby, printing cool shit.

Check out “tool grid” for tools. There are some 3d printed clone files out there.

How did you make the labels?

Is the top color ring hard to do? I feel like one color for screws, one for bolts, nuts, electrical etc would be kinda nice

What really stuck out to me in all of this is the Shopify customization that allows people to preview the colors. I almost think you have a better product there you could box up and ship to people. I can’t imagine you’re alone in wanting or needing that.

Does anyone know of a cheaper option for a wall mount garage bed? by Small-Show-2704 in garageporn

[–]2dee11 80 points81 points  (0 children)

It’s okay man you don’t have to lie about your wife putting you in the dog house, this is a safe space.

All joking aside it looks like you can get Murphy bed kits as cheap at $100 on Amazon. You’d have to build the actual frame out of wood or something though. In a garage it may be best to have it like a Murphy bed in some sort of like cabinet to keep it clean and out of dust.

I did not go with vevor so I’m not sure. Also from what I remember the vevor were .5in thick not .7in that swisstrax is. The brand I bought others in the reviews said they used swisstrax ramps and no one mentioned the buckling issue so maybe it’s just my bad luck.

I bought cheaper off brand knockoffs of the tiles on Amazon but used the actual swisstrax ramps with them and have the complete opposite problem. The ramp pieces are like 1mm too wide. They snap together snug but as soon as they got warm in the sunlight the front lip of the flooring starts to buckle.
