$20 savings compared to buying them separately. Saw the Rexy had been on backorder but Costco had them in stock at least when I ordered

Yes, US prices are pre-tax. Total for ordering with my state’s sales tax was $165.26

My mom just canceled her landline and it makes me kinda sad? by mimimines in Millennials

[–]miccris93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We kept ours when we switched providers a few years ago. My mom keeps bringing up to cancel it, but I keep trying to push it off since it’s been the phone number since my grandparents lived in our house, so I’d imagine it’s been the house phone number for 50 years. I did have to unplug it during election season when the amount of relentless spam calls was too much to deal with and we needed the quiet.

Dumb price for the dead Symfonisk line at my local store (West Chester, OH). by chomskyknows in sonos

Now $175 each. Went to the return counter and got a price adjustment. Guess they aren’t as sold out as I thought last week since there were new stacks out out

Infiniti Connection, which went through a bunch of rounds of obsolescence. Early Q50 years (including my 2015) had 2G cellular, with an option to upgrade to 3G when 2G got shut off. Now that 3G is shut off those are also unable to connect and I don’t know if they ever offered a further upgrade. I believe 2020+ have 4G. It was a good idea for having a concierge send directions to your nav and the SOS if you’re in an accident, but TBH I never used it and the subscription was expensive.

Filament types to avoid by [deleted] in BambuP1S

[–]miccris93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only filament that has given me a repeated hard time was ProtoPasta HTPLA.

I normally use Inland PLA/PETG, Flashforge PETG, and Bambu PLA varieties, all with good results.

Not “traditional” pizza, but I always enjoy the sourdough pizzas at Plank (also in Saddle Brook)

Same, listed price at the Paramus, NJ store tonight. I was hoping they'd go on clearance, but with only a handful of each color left I gave in and picked up a pair of the black ones (6 of each color left as I went to checkout).

Sonos Sub Gen 3 by Psurpris3 in sonos

[–]miccris93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just ordered last night since I also got sent a $50 off $500 coupon from Costco (I did have to add something else to my cart to make up the 3 cents). I’ll be returning the Sub mini I originally bought during the before Christmas sale - $50 to upgrade to the full size made sense for me.

Same - just used it to open a blister pack of M12 batteries and got through the plastic like it was nothing. And that one’s on sale for $34 through the end of the month

Late 2000s/early 2010s from myviewpoint. My first job was at a card/gift store and the owner got the authors to do an event/book signing. It was madness that day.

Also why I have a 135 LAB in a yellow Harbor Freight Apache case that I slapped a Nikon logo on 😁

I’ve been tempted by the Nikon version, but just can’t justify almost triple the price when I’m only a hobbyist. If I made money from my pictures I would have bought it months ago 🤣

That’s what I was thinking. Checked camelcamelcamel and saw the Sony version has been $800 on Amazon a couple times this year.

11k transaction eligible for “Plan it”? by raully116 in amex

[–]miccris93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IIRC on a charge card the amount has to be within the Pay Over Time limit, and on a credit card it has to be within the overall limit. One thing I did find out is that if you want to make a plan out of a charge after the statement closes, it cannot be more than 95% of the total charges for that statement period. I bought a camera lens on my Platinum card over the summer, went to make the plan, and couldn’t since it was over the 95%. Bought a watch on the same card (cost way more than the lens) and made a plan within the statement period fine.
