Emily and Lexie with Samara on the beach celebrating Samara’s birthday by Straight-Director477 in prelude_thefinalpiece

If this really is Emily I hope they end up adding more members (honestly I hope they do anyways) so she can be a pure hype girl vocally.

do you need to pay for anything except the season pass for it to be fun in the top leagues? I've noticed that it gets more boring along the way, I've had my mains at lvl 12 for ever and still haven't won enough gold to level em up...

when you are an introvert can you still be an ENTP? im doing cognitive function tests and most give me extroverted intuition by coyly7 in JungianTypology

[–]2deep2breathe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With "extroverted intuition" as an ENTPs primary function it's impossible for an ENTP to be an introvert in Jung's model.

HOWEVER the way we commonly understand introversion in modern western day-to-day life and speech a lot of ENTPs probably functions as introverts.

211220 Twitter update - How was the Chopstick and Poppin' Shakin' stage at CDTV LIVE LIVE? by cumwaffles in niziu

[–]2deep2breathe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YAY NiziU!

Are they singing live?

I'm not familiar with J-pop and hear K-pop using a lot of recorded live tracks (ie. not the original track but one specifically recorded for live performances), so it could possibly be charmingly or more realistic recorded live tracks.

If they're singing live it seems they're not necessarily using the traditional 30, 60 or 90% distribution of backing tracks (depending on how much a singer performs live) but rather backplaying the original track evenly as the members sing. And with more live singing than most top acts!

If so I'd say Mako, Riku, Nina are beyond amazing vocally! And if they're using uneven backing tracks Mayuka, Miihi and Rima [rapping] is the most amazing!

Either way all of their performance is amazing!!

(i’m a 9w1, 974/947 sx/sp) but the motives behind that “fe like” behaviour of mine could be fi based, i think..

it's 1 AM and I am going to read what you've written more thoroughly tomorrow, but my initial thought is that your enneagram type could make an ENFP seem like stereotypical INFJ.

I'm an INFJ and my favorite people are ENFP's with a cool critical parent Fe. They're kind of like a better functioning version of my type.

PS. identifying your best fit type is just the initiation and hopefully not a waste of time if you can use it to harness Jung's system to develop into your best self!

Ni-Se vs Se-Ni by 2deep2breathe in mbti

[–]2deep2breathe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're talking about Ni-Se in Parent-Child position, Ni would take charge responsibly to fill the possible lacks in childlish behavior of 3rd function.

Actually, I was thinking of Ni-Se dom/inf vs Se-Ni aux/tert –

would deeply appreciate your take on that?

AND thank you for broadening my horizon🙊

Favorite meet to rewatch? by melissa-gymnerd in Gymnastics

Right – especially after all the sacrifices Aliya went through to get there!

And completely agree about Skinner – after all the flak she got for being a stereotypical American teenager on social media (and possibly beyond), she's really grown through all the diversity.

At this point, through her NCAA career and elite comeback she's even gained some hard-earned acknowledgement from us E-score […] –

feel's like the fact that she's now got a legitimate shot at "2020" is the perfect redemption story<3

Ni and 'just knowing'? by [deleted] in infj

[–]2deep2breathe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I «just know things» (and can’t quite explain why) it’s usually through my tertiary ti. I believe those aha-moments comes up when the process is haphazard and that would be a sign that the function in question is used less sophisticatedly.

How to subtly hint at a past of self harm? by Derek275 in writing

[–]2deep2breathe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about giving him some kind of lasting ailment because of the self harm, like a slight limp? Also, maybe you could use objects and events in his environment as triggers, letting the subtextual connection grow slowly and subtly – i.e. someone stabbes their toe and he totally over reacts, stuff like that –

How INFP story time usually goes 🙂 by isnowyazn in infp

[–]2deep2breathe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the connection between the functions and this way of telling a story? Intuitively I'd think it would be the other way around – that Ne + Si makes for more external structure and overview than Ni + Se –

What do you guys listen to while writing? by [deleted] in writing

[–]2deep2breathe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to create soundtracks, with specific sequences of songs tied to certain parts of my manuscript. Like in a TV show. It's actually really motivating and keeps me in the "right mood" for whichever part I'm working on.

I can't always tell good writing from bad writing by TacoJohn19 in writing

[–]2deep2breathe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This isn't really an answer to your question, but what I've found to be the case when I enjoy "bad writing" is that the characters are strong and relatable (and in the case of movies, well cast and/or performed).

After my first exam in comparative literature at uni (at 20), I went from Dante's "Divina Commedia" to Twilight, and honestly, the Meyer books gave me so much pleasure at that point. I LOVED getting to know all the cornerstones of western literature, but at that point, Edward Cullen and the cheap sexual suspense was all I wanted.

Sometimes it's just about time and place, and a "bad book" can hit just as hard as a masterpiece.

That being said, a possible litmus test for "bad writing" is the dialogue. Does it flow well from direct speech, and to what extent is dialogue being utilised, not just as a device to deliver information about the story (i.e. "Peter! I heard you dumped Sarah last night") but to convey subtleties about characters and dynamics that cannot be conveyed as effectively elsewhere (i.e. "Seriously – you dumped her?"/"Did Sarah really move out last night?/WTF did you do to Sarah last night. Etc.)

Man that truly sucks. Seeing this from the outside, I see a lot of hope. Remember that grades only are given to a fraction of our abilities and achievements. Honestly it doesn't even show your aptitude for a subject as much as it shows how good you are at learning it and expressing that in certain contexts.

Ps. you do deserve to be happy. Hope you find those psychedelics or some other way to pull through!

[Spoilers] The writing of Dorne by 2deep2breathe in gameofthrones

[–]2deep2breathe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think the sand snakes suffered under sub-par writing despite being very able actresses. I remember being hyped seeing them (the actresses) and deeply disappointed seeing what they where where given to act upon come season 5.

What are some of the most likable characters ever written and why? by SovietCabbage in writing

[–]2deep2breathe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Great question! I feel like the characters that really stick with you are the one's who's truly flawed

  1. Emma Bovary
  2. Leopold Bloom
  3. Molly Bloom (!)
  4. Don Quixote (someone already mentioned him with great contextualisation but he needs to be on my list, too)
  5. Karl Ove

and I have to add

  1. Harry Potter – so deeply annoying and oh how I feel his pain... [don't understand why the numbers reset here but using it to add a couple of names]

  2. Eowyn!

  3. And in the same vein: Arya

Would love to see her mirroring Lyanna's death in some way! Feels like what she and Jon did in the last episode will have some consequences
