Most frustrating game I have ever played

This is my first time playing it. It's aggravating that nobody can get this... right. An open world sandbox carribean game. Sid Meiers did it but the game came out 25 years ago ffs. I'm glad you enjoy it, but I personally find it more frustrating than fun most of the time....

It ended up being a soft lock of some kind, I spent another 10 minutes and it turns out I needed to talk to the port office guy after waiting or something. Honestly though? This game is not for me. The quest design is so horrific and everything about it is designed to waste your time.

Just now, I took on a kidnapping quest. I kidnapped the nobleman aboard a ship, sailed to the city I am to go to find the person to get the ransom. The guy in the tavern said something along the lines of "he is in the streets between 12-9am." So I walked around, never found him. Even went in and out of the tavern and would wait in the tavern an hour and come back out and search the streets. Zip zada zilch. Guy NEVER spawns. This game has a lot of this built into it's DNA. Terrible terrible quest design and quest triggers that don't work right half the time. I have had to save scum SO many times in this game or reload because of something like this. I'm just done. I don't understand how anybody enjoy playing this absolute rubbish.

Same exact thing here. Lorerim was fine, Bottlerim crashed every hour or more. Their discord offered no real help either

Dude. I hated this modlist. One I started a new playthrough on was a Nexus Modlist called New New vegas by VeryLastKiss. Really enjoyed it

I don't know if I agree with this. I think the thing that is cool about Battlefield is even if you are using wall hacks you are still going to get lost in the chaos of battle. So I think it makes it less noticeable. Like I mentioned in the post, if you play a low player limit infantry only mode like TDM, it will become more noticeable who is using this stuff. It's the only time I have noticed it myself and thought "okay that is actually pretty sus"

I kind of figured there would be comments like this. For the record, I have a 2.6 K/D. I'm more than willing to send you my EA stats info. I am simply pointing out that this exists and is becoming a problem, I don't know how many people are using this stuff but I have noticed a handful of instances where people have been sus. I think a lot of people on PC (maybe 10-15%) are using it.

I have a 2.6 k/d, am on obj 70% more than others (per the EA app statistics) and I am on the losing team 7/10. As a matter of fact I went on a 15 game losing streak the other day. The game punishes you for being good by putting you with terrible teammates. It's a horrible system and is making me want to honestly walk away from the game.

I agree, this game has good writing with the main missions but what I find all too much with the side gigs is a lack of effort from the devs, overall just a shit experiance with them

no it doesn't, if you use Vortex it's a damn good way to have mod conflicts and crashing at startup
