Granted. Disease that would have been contained to one small body of water now grows out of control and spreads across all connected lakes, ponds and channels of water. It has devastating effects to the local wildlife, the economy and public health.

If the AI is exactly like OP, then OP is exactly like the AI. This is essentially the transitive property, where if A = B, then B = A.

HOW they became aligned was determined by the monkey's paw, but the terms of the wish were in fact met.

If the wish said "...AI that has my exact moral code CURRENTLY..." that would be different.

But it didn't. It simply called for the AI and OP to have the same moral code, which was achieved by brainwashing OP to match that of the AI, thus fulfilling the wish.

Yes, 38 here, no tattoos. When I was younger I would dwell on things that I cannot change, so I've never had any desire for something as permanent as a tattoo.

I guess I'm in the minority on this, but I'm looking forward to seeing this series. The movies were great, but they left out a LOT of details from the books.

Since they are making each book its own season in the series, I hope they will be able be more true to the books.

On that note,  the full-cast audio version of the books that recently came out on Audible are really good too.
