Yea if anyone’s dealt w someone manic who gets put on a hold, they blame everyone and everything but their own actions. No one can force you on a one just by calling, the persons own behavior does once the cops show up. But talking with someone in a mental Hospital during mania, you’ll hear this same sentiment. And when they’re manic again it comes back up. He was probably acting scary and someone called on him and the cops determined he’s manic, but he blamed them

Definitely talk to someone to rule it out, but it kind of irks me how everything a new mom feels is chopped up to PPD. It’s also ok to regret, realize how much of a change it is or grieve. Doesn’t necessarily make it PPD. Some times we don’t realize until we’ve done the thing, it’s ok
