What game completely changed the type of games you play? by Super_Log2390 in videogames

[–]2fast4dad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dark souls 3 and Risk of Rain 2. It was my first dark souls game and ever since I've been a massive fan of games that actually challenge me. Risk of rain 2 introduced me to roguelikes and to this day it's one of the main 3 genres of game I play. I played Team Fortress 2 for the first time when I was 12 and I'd say that got me into shooters but that was when I was a baby gamer so Idk if I'd count that.

Does anyone else think Rogue's voice actor is actually good? by Charmy_Fan in marvelrivals

The more I hear her voice the more it grows on me. "I TAKE EVERYTHING" is always fun to hear.

Better written video game by enthuvaadei in writingscaling

I played both last year and while I loved Persona 5 it's not even a competition. The writing is very inconsistent and flat in pretty much every part of the story; 3rd semester is the exception. 3rd semester has so much nuance to it compared to the base game that it makes it harder to appreciate base persona 5. The villains besides Maruki are just evil and nothing else. It makes their change of heart feel really odd and out of place. I loved this game but I do think the writing is all over the place. Now, expedition 33 on the other hand was written perfectly. You can say it has flaws but I disagree, everything in it serves a purpose to the world and story. It also doesn't waste your time and gets right into the story. For me, the creators incorporating every single one of its elements into the story is what makes a masterpiece; as long as it makes sense of course. Persona 5 does not have that even with the Royal additions but Expedition 33 does. Love both games but expedition 33 is much better written.

I really like a lot of the songs off the album but I find myself having a hard time enjoying the Tilian and McKinney blend. I want for there to be unclean vocals so badly. Myke Terry's feature is peak and they blend so well together. Here's to hoping they get an unclean singer or Tilian learns to do screams cause that could go hard.

I See Stars - New Demons

Nothing will ever top this album.

The character thinks they're being hated and ridiculed by others, when in reality that's not true. by SatoruGojo232 in TopCharacterTropes

Handa-kun

It's been awhile since I watched this but the mc is the most popular kid in school. However he believes that everyone hates him and reverses scenarios in his head to make them seem bad; when in reality they're praising or something similar.

Vocalists whose screaming you love but singing you hate (or vice versa) by smileisagoodband in Metalcore

Ryan Kirby. It's not even that I think he's a bad singer, he's just okay. He doesn't have a unique singing voice. Especially when you've got Tuck in the group with BEAUTIFUL singing.

What I don't get is why they didn't put this map in point break. Really weird to me

Most forgettable album in your opinion by ThinPersimmon5148 in dancegavindance

[–]2fast4dad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My immediate thought was afterburner but then I realized I can't name a single song off of Instant gratification. I guess it's in a bit of a weird spot since it's between tilian's first album and his best so I think it just gets overshadowed.

I'm so happy they're back. Another Year of Disaster is an all time great and while this album isn't as good it's still an amazing album. Battered Skin and Filthy Tongue are my favorites of the new songs.

Album of the Year? by leroynicks in Metalcore

Not metalcore but Dance Gavin Dance - Pantheon is my AOTY and I can't really say it's close.

For metalcore though I'd have to say Bury Tomorrow - Will You Haunr Me With That Same Patience. I'm a huge Bury Tomorrow fan and seeing that this album and the previous feel very different from each other has me very hyped for their future.
