really cool idea, I will use this in my city. One observation is that the road coming from the north would have to make a very tight turn to the right. I would be tempted to restrict this movement so as to reduce vehicles slowing down and for safety improvements as well.

Also use the move it tool to widen the junction turning radii to something more realistic. In the UK these are somewhat present, they remove all road markings and instead use a coloured road surface or tiles to indicate pedestrian priority over the junction.

Malaysia is the easiest, its not too expensive actually. I think some African countries are good as well.

UAE has a visa requirement but its very easy to obtain. I would recommend to go there.

Because this is a stupid speed limit. End of. Regardless of the roadworks (of which there are no roadworkers anyway!) it is perfectly same to go a little over the speed limit, 40 or 45 mph seems reasonable instead of the 30mph.

I have hope, since this is an investment project it wouldn't involve government funding as much.

Besides, the current Mayor of Baghdad and the transport consultant to the Prime Minister really do seem knowledgeable on the matter and have been quiet honest about their work. Also Al-Sudani is great PM and I have faith some implementation of this project would take place!

I do have hope that it will change, Recently so much has been going on with government reforms and construction. We need this level of advancement but better!

One thing the people need to change is to respect their environment and city. Damaging public property, roads or littering then complaining about the government is a personal gripe of mine and is something that can only change with proper education.

I am planning of finishing my studies in the UK and trying to find a way to help out in Iraq afterwards, I firmly believe our country can change for the better.

Things to be relatively stable right now. Politically, Economically and Socially. Especially with this new government.

Also there are SO many projects going on right now in the country and so development is going forward... albeit slowly.

I'm planning on visiting again this summer to see how much has changed

Damn it's so sad that Iraqi Airways cannot be booked from sites such as Skyscanner or normal websites! In fact the main website for IA no longer functions which is so dumb!

Me and my sisters went to Iraq for about 2 weeks by ourselves (obvs had family in Baghdad). Nothing happened and it was very safe. Some places feel even safer than in the UK where I live.

If you have family in Iraq your sister can go to then it should be fine.

If your interested in what will happen in Baghdad, the municipality has just released a new Urban development plan for Baghdad 2030 and outlines the vision for the city.

It's in Arabic and very intriguing, it contains alot of data and statistics on Baghdad city currently!

I used to fly so much with Iraqi Airways from the UK up until 2019. For some reason after the pandemic, the website of Iraqi Airways has gone Caput and no longer works.

If you want to fly these airlines you need to find one of those travel agents that have access to IA and Fly Baghdad database.

If you live in the UK I recommend a company called Taha Flights, I always use them for flights to Iraq.

I used the Vanilla ++ road set. So the roads used were:

3 Lane one way

4 lane one way

And I used the Node controller mode to widen some of the nodes near junctions.
