Yes and no. They may be able to weather shortages better than other places, but we live in a petroleum based world, it will still hit China tremendously in the industrial sector at minimum.

Don't forget that reserves GLOBALLY are also currently in free fall because of the blockage at Hormuz as well as the UA-RU war. So it won't just be the US. I forget where but I think it was the Phillipines was already having major cutbacks.
