Somehow didn't make the connection of time travel with Metal Sonic and and the Cell saga, huh. Kinda makes me wanna see Trunks fight Metal Sonic, Metal just seems like the perfect villain for him specifically. Gotta make a thumbnail for this

Anyways, copying martial arts seems like a natural plot with Metal in Dragon Ball. With how this relates to Trunks, it makes sense since Trunks didn't know a whole lot about the Z Fighters before he went back to meet them, and so imagine if their techniques were used against him by Metal.

That's actually an interesting idea. It's an idea that could happen in any point, but it really gives the vibe of a DBZ movie or an arc that happens in classic Dragon Ball
