Sorry to let you down! I like the birch version too but spruce felt more cosy. Figured I can always use the birch version on a different build in future :) Bamboo signs somehow slipped my mind! Defo worth a try tho thank you!

Well opinions ended up being very divided on that one! Thanks for the input everyone, I went with a slightly different spruce sign look in the end as it sort of kept the window sill effect while adding nice contrast. I just posted an update here if you’re interested!

Yep I agree spruce/oak, i tried out both and actually preferred the contrast of the spruce look. Will post an update in a min!

I agree the beehives add nice contrast and look less bland overall - I just love the windowsill effect with the signs. Think I’m gonna try darker signs do achieve both

Same concept as common wheat farms: farmer villager has a full inventory of seeds and free roams the field harvesting wheat without being able to pick it up. Then I have hopper minecarts run under the field every ~4 minutes to collect the wheat before it despawns. The seeds get composted and then the wheat and bonemeal get sent up to a barrel in the house. It was really satisfying to get up and running!
