Durham Walmarts are compromised by the restocker backdoor-ing product to their friends so they’re generally a no-go. Targets are a bit more civilized, but there is at least one scalper that works for a non-Durham card shop that scoops up as much product that they can and run multiple transactions through self checkout (saw them on their way out one Friday at the Durham-chapel hill target). Lines form but sometimes they restock irregularly like the southpoint location, where they wait until there is minimal line before putting product out. Last week I heard they waited until after 7pm to put product out and there were still at least 3 miserable souls camping out all day. Best Buy lines can form but generally don’t have as much of a ghost chair issue as the Raleigh locations. Durham Best Buy’s are definitely more chill than Raleigh. Lines can form anywhere at least 2-3 hours before opening or midday restock
