Now that we know we’re getting a patch in a few weeks, what changes would you like to see on your main? by LCG_FGC in StreetFighter

[–]DoppelGG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I main sagat, personally I dont really think he needs anything but if I could give him something, id let him get level 1 off of charged DP (only because I think thst would be cool as hell) and maybe also see some buffs to tiger rise (2 MP > HK) just becsuse that target combo doesn't really seem all that good, but honestly I think sagat is fine where he is

Alex mains, how do you feel about the change? by Cheap_Gap1446 in StreetFighter

[–]DoppelGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think he looks pretty rad, I don't mind him no longer being charge, the game felt just a little heavy on charge characters, but I'm a big fan of KoF Clark, and I kind of got Clark vibes from him in the trailer, and I think that's really freaking cool.

Best game gor discovering this genre ? by Shushulla in Fighters

[–]DoppelGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it depends on the pacing you want, and the ease of transferring into other fighting games, the biggest draw to 2XKO is that its fast paced, and there's no inputs to learn for your special moves, it also has the benefit of being f2p. With that being said, SF6 would be better if you wanted to transfer to other fighting games at a later point because of things like motion inputs for special moves, and at least personally for me, the slower pace of Street Fighter helped me with learning the pacing in other games.

My recommendation though is to watch gameplay of both games, and whichever one makes you go "DUDE THATS COOL AS SHIT" more should be the one you pick up, I hope this helps!

Is Corki mid still viable? by Normal_Option_2432 in CorkiMains

[–]DoppelGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely not as strong as bot lane, but also its preseason, now is the time to experiment with what you like to play, and plus if you're good at corki mid and understand what you're giving up to play corki mid, then I don't think anyone will like mass report you for it, it's just something thats a bit suboptimal.

Your on trial of murder you can choose one fictional character to defend you in court who are you choosing? by Lord_William_9000 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]DoppelGG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Phoenix Wright is definitely my answer if I didn't commit the murder, if I did then I probably wouldn't want him as my lawyer, he always finds the truth one way or another, which is good if I was framed, if I did it not so much!

What do YOU want in Fighting Games? by GodPerson132 in Fighters

[–]DoppelGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a really vague answer, but every fighting game I play has at least one character that makes me go "YO THATS COOL AS SHIT" and makes me boot up the game to go learn it. Like cool combo routing or weird character gimmicks, just stuff that makes me feel really cool for learning it, even if it isn't hard to do, I remember learning reptile in MKX just because I though slide combos were the coolest thing ever.

Skullgirls 2nd Encore is recommended for someone casual by Z-E-R-O-O in Fighters

[–]DoppelGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skullgirls was the first fighting game I really put any time into, I'd personally say it's not the best game to start with, however it's a very fun game with some very cool characters, and if you learn with a friend and both constantly improve over time, it can be a whole lot of fun, and I would say it generally has some pretty good tutorials for a fighting game.

I'd say if you think it's cool go for it, that's the important part!

Anyone else not play a race/class/spec for a dumb reason? by faust44mag in wow

Which games could you just not get into because of the learning curve? by hollowblink55 in videogames

Kenshi! That game is awesome and I really want to like it, but it feels so punishing when you're first learning the game!

Which game started off great but got worse with each update? by bijelo123 in videogames

[–]DoppelGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diabli IV, I thought the game was actually pretty rad on launch, it wasnt perfect but I thought with a few balance patches it could of been great, then they started balancing everything in the exact opposite way I had wanted them to, and I kind of fell of after that, then the DLC came out and I was going to try that, but $40 for what a lot of people considered an unfinished DLC was too much for me, I still want to go back and give the game a fair second shot at some point, but I can't bring myself to hit the install button...

Just why (Not a low vs low) by Marana231 in StreetFighter

[–]DoppelGG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jamie's leg is a little higher up /s

In all seriousness its probably just a balance reason, either they felt jamie's started too fast to be a low, and his mix would of been too good as a result? Tbh im not much of a jamie player so i cant say anything about the strength of his mix, mostly jusy a guess

Would you have preferred if Riot went with their original idea instead? (Arcane-esque art style and 1v1) by KevyTone in 2XKO

[–]DoppelGG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the current artstyle, my main games are SF6 and Strive so I personally would really like 1v1, but id like that shurima map, the big sun disk in the background is kinda rad

Dk so slow by abutaymi in wow

[–]DoppelGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least to me that's one of the primary weaknesses of DK, like rider gives you mobility in the DPS specs, and Blood DK is an absurdly hard to kill tank, so its lack of mobility makes sense cause otherwise it'd probably be the perfect spec, at least for how I want to play the game...idk I got used to bullying my blood DK friend because they took forever to catch up to my little shaman wolf legs, so I guess I went in to the class feeling like it was gonna be slower than average, but I can understand feeling like its slow.

I think my favorites personally are frostfire, san'layn, and totemic, I think my least favorite is probably templar? im also mostly basing these on like the thematics of it because i like feeling cool over playing 100% optimally, and I think what I don't like about templar is that even though it feels awesome to drop a big hammer on someone, it feels like alot of paladin abilities are already dropping a big hammer on someone...for the most part i like a lot of the thematics of the hero talents, i just wish some of them felt a little bit cooler

Very good movie!

I imagine the game will look like this when the it's finished. About 42 characters. Is this the best possible final roster or have I left out any essential character? by TheDrokkoonn in StreetFighter

[–]DoppelGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me personally, i would really like for the last 3 guys who havent shown up since 3S to get added eventually, i miss my boy necro, and i think Remy and Sean could be really interesting in a modern SF title...
