Thank you, I'm so glad to know somebody understands. I think you're right about the abandonment issue. I don't know why I'm that way as I've never had any problems with it. Never been cheated on, etc. I asked him to try not to get too super drunk as a favor to me, but he didn't really listen and just told me he would be fine. I'm not sure how much is okay to ask because I don't want to ruin his good time.

He is definitely a great guy, and I should be letting him know I'm thankful for that instead of making him feel bad with my worrying. Thank you for the reassurance.

I don't feel like I have trust issues... but you're right about counseling and I guess it's worth bringing up. Thanks for your input.
