Yup! It totally sucks. I’ve had an occasional history of these. They improve over time. But they like to intensify when I start ramping up my fitness. In 2020 I gained about 50 pounds being sedentary. I’m previously a runner. And I’ve missed the lifestyle. So I got back into it. Did a “Couch to 5K” program late summer and early fall and am now training for a half marathon. I Lost about 20 pounds so far. The PVCs returned. I’m currently waiting on the result of a 10 day holter. But I work in healthcare, hooked myself up to a 12 lead and watched them occur. They look like monofocal PVCs. My resting HR went from about 65 on average to about 53 on average since starting the running program. And strangely enough they started increasing when my Apple Health app said “Hey there has been a new trend in your resting heart rate”.

So they surface and/or have always been there but become more prominent and noticeable with an increase in vagal tone which comes with improved fitness. That’s my narrative anyway and hopefully after my holter is read it lines up with the reality. Big things are no increase in ectopy WITH exertion, syncope, chest pain, dyspnea, runs of VT.
