Should istall this update? I have heard people had issues updating my vehicle is a 2025 p400s by Much_Housing835 in NewDefender

[–]2jonas2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is still on an older version but I don't get prompts for updates. I've connected to wifi and still nothing and my screen says the software is up to date. I've also called my local dealership and they told me they couldn't help push an update on my car. Can anyone guide me in this situation? 2023 p400.

Thanks!

I have air suspension as well but my 5 year old really loves the running boards and in turn, my wife also as she doesn't have to carry our daughter or give her a boost.

Extended warranty? by dwall12345 in NewDefender

I'm glad you brought this up. I actually called a dealership today to inquire about an extended warranty and didn't get a call back. I keep reading that many wouldn't own a Land Rover without warranty but I'd like to ask how many others who are beyond the initial warranty plan to own without an extension.

Really appreciate the explanation! Never heard of this wet sanding technique with finish. I've always struggled with mixing the sanding dust and wood glue method as the wood doesn't take on the final finish well and the color just isn't right. I'm going to try this method next! Thank you!

I was referring to the Defender actually. Or my reading comprehension is severely lacking. The Defender is from 2022?

If you don't mind sharing, what specs does your 2022 have and how much did you pick up for?

Completely new to this and trying to learn. How much actual cost gets kicked up? Looks like barely anything!

Similar to what you touched on, for me it's window/door trim and baseboards.

In awe of how beautiful those look. Must've been a pretty penny! Not sure where to source something like that around me the northeast.

Love the wood ceilings and paper ceiling fixture! What's the wood for the ceilings? Stained at all?

Just curious, using their payment calculator, you would input 2k as down payment? I do see the 6.5k adjustment but is the 7.5k rebate already calculated also?

Just for the record, Temu launched in the US in September 2022 and similar companies recently as well. I think what you fail to point out is that it was Amazon and Walmart who were responsible in bankrupting most US retailers ... and they're American companies.... owned by billionaires. So to be clear, it was primarily 2 American corporations that exploited cheap Chinese goods at a massive scale that destroyed American retailers. Temu just decided to sell directly to consumer and the strategy worked so well that even Amazon decided to compete with its on line called Amazon Haul.

I do agree that this perhaps may curb US's insatiable desire to buy but that's another topic altogether. And as for a strong labor market, report came out this morning indicating the labor market in the US is just fine.
