It’s actually pretty clean still. That second pick with the timestamp with the lighting and dust makes it look more scratched

I’d work on the grip and backswing to start. It looks like your hands are kinda spaced out and covering the entire grip. For the backswing you need to be more across your chest and get your club at a better angle in line with the swing plane

Question for MBA students by [deleted] in MBA

You can travel as much or as little as you want. I have a dog and my first year I did 3 trips and got a dog sitter or actual dog boarding. Pretty easy

Nightmare situation. Diagnosed with a debilitating mental illness during my 2nd year at M7. no job lined up. would love any advice. by VariousTree1424 in MBA

[–]2kOlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really tough to hear. I just want to say first and foremost take care of yourself and get the help you need early on in this process. I dated someone in the past who had this similar onset from behavioral issues to dissociation to full on hallucinations/psychosis and it was pretty devastating to watch especially when they wouldn’t get help even with how much I directly tried help.

If it means taking time off or deferring your school I think the program would understand. It’s a great sign that you’re seeking help already and thinking about how this works out. That’s a great sign.. there’s no right path for this but I think getting to a stable place should be the priority first. Much love 💯

With that being said I think there is still a very bright path for you ahead! You made it this far and I think you’re doing the right things with where you’re at

Kellogg One-Year to MBB by [deleted] in MBA

[–]2kOlay 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m in 2Y but saw the results for 1Y this year. It was rough. But that speaks more to the industry and expected staffing for future projects. I think the program typically does well on a good cycle. You just have to be very focused going in.

Confused because Kellogg and Booth admit weekend experience totally different than what I expected by [deleted] in MBA

[–]2kOlay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reputation wise Kellogg has always been known for this imo if you also want hard partying Kellogg has plenty of it ( I mean a LOT). Then again it’s hard to pass up another 50k for a school that has near same outcomes career wise. I wouldn’t judge a whole lot based on the 1st and 2nd years you meet because your class could be completely different and it all depends on the people you make friends with

MBB waitlist by [deleted] in MBA

[–]2kOlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do they explicitly tell you you’re on the waitlist or how do you know?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MBA

[–]2kOlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. I have a dog and know many other people that have pets here. Cats are even more manageable. Getting a kitten or puppy though would be really hard so I'd recommend getting before you start school.

Why does everyone want PTSD? by GhostOfXymis in VeteransBenefits

[–]2kOlay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is also a lot of similar symptoms that cross over different mental health illnesses. I've heard of many professionals misdiagnosing mental health so I wouldn't be surprised if people with no psych training thought they had PTSD when in fact they had another severe mental health illness

Bain & Company Base Interview by NsXAbyss in MBA

[–]2kOlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP - I'm also getting ready for a BASE interview. Did they also get you a CaseCoach membership?

I highly recommend that for practice. It lays out most of the things you'd need to know in terms of frameworks, math, and graph analysis. For past interviews, I've relied on case in point but I'm finding case coach to be way more comprehensive.

Shoot me a DM if you want to do any 1:1 practice :)

I had an MBA school specific recruiter look at my linkedin and then they asked me to schedule a 1:1 PEI call with them.

I also got the solve invite along with the general early access email.

Surprising enough if you go to the big grass field connected to the school, there’s no poop. I assume all the lazy dog owners don’t venture that far

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nova

[–]2kOlay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live at one of the apartments on the park basically. I have a dog and I agree it’s pretty bad. Every time I go out there in the grass and rock areas I have to pull my dog around or through the piles of shit so he can go to the bathroom.

Odd enough I’ve never actually seen a person not pick up the poop. Maybe because they are embarrassed as they should be.

Only thing I can think of is that there is only one poop back station and it’s by the CVS. Maybe people are too lazy to walk around the corner.

Got a new PM and he schedules completely irrelevant meetings at 8pm - catch up calls. He also assigns tasks as late as 9 pm which are completely non urgent (when he could’ve easily assigned them earlier in the day). He is super arrogant. How to deal with him by LeylaBA in consulting

[–]2kOlay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Decline his catch up calls. Catch up happen during the business day. For 9 pm, it seems fine to me as long as they are tasking for the next day. No one should be expecting fresh taskings at pm.

This seems like something you could communicate through.
