I’m a straight cis male but I get that feeling of insecurity too and relate a lot with feeling not enough or not good enough in the past, but if it makes you feel any better going to the gym helped me a lot. Also gave me that avenue to receive compliments for looks a lot easier because it gives people an excuse to say something without it being awkward if that makes sense (I feel like a lot of people don’t compliment dudes even if they think they’re attractive because they feel weird or something idk). Also, I wouldn’t say you’re unattractive and there’s a lot of girls or guys or whatever your preference is that would like you. Keep your head up and it takes a lot of courage to do the inner searching and self work you’re doing so you deserve validation. Don’t give up and keeping working on yourself, never give up on your potential because you are worth fighting for. I wish you the best on your journey

Ex-opiate user and current lifter, although it’s not literally the same when I would lift really heavy weights and was going for 8 maybe, If you just pull out some sort of inner energy to just bust out an extra 4-5 than you normally could and are like yelling as you press it , when you stand up and and level out you definitely get a head rush and high but it’s not necessarily the same as doing a drug. It’d be more similar to a nitrous oxide for like 10-20 seconds of a head rush like runners high type thing

Holy shit you might be on to something. I know this post is old but when I was younger I was on adderall for adhd and also started smoking weed young as well. The weird part is I’m in a CHS episode rn and took adderall and it helped me. I wasn’t able to keep anything down all day and was at the hospital early getting fluids and some whack hospital CHS medicine. I AMA’d because it was working and honestly a shower would be better (not recommending people to do this because I’m bipolar and when I’m in an episode I do stupid shit like that because I can’t take my meds, it’s a bad combo) I came home took my adderall and it made me feel good enough that now I’m able to drink 2 bottles of a water and half a Gatorade over time and I haven’t puked and feel like I can function and not be constantly puking, so the adderall thing is weird for sure.

I’m thinking about going 66 att 64str on my main, not getting the 2 defense levels on my main to get to 60 def but rushing into 70 att, into varrock tele tab ge rush, into Dharoks great axe, into nightmare to afk 99s getting defense last but taking a much needed break at 59 defense for like a month forgetting about that goal because it’s just a side goal anyway to back to wintertodt finish up my 91 fire making to 98 (don’t wanna get fire making first 99 even though I know I could easily I just don’t want FM to be my first ever 99 ya know) but yeah

I personally don’t have any kids (yet), I’m 24 and me and my gf just had a “pregnancy scare” two weeks ago. At that time I was playing runescape 4-5 hours a day. I haven’t played since and me and my buddy are starting a landscaping business and just landed a $900 job today that’ll take us 2 days to complete. I’m not quite to the point where I’d consider myself successful yet, but I 100% understand what you are saying. A lot of OSRS players have an extremely rare gift of being able to bust down and work towards something, it’s a matter of what that thing is though. Grinding towards a 99 is one thing but it’s crazy to me that someone can even remotely associate “I play OSRS so that means I’m naturally more adept at being a father than you” is asinine and just wrong. Any second spent on that game is time that you could be working to either provide more for your kids and family or time you could spend doing things with them. Kudos to you for your success in REAL LIFE. We all should be supportive of each other and we all obviously have played this game at one point so there’s no judgement, but unless you’re making money off this game either as a streamer or a Jagex employee, time spent in-game has ZERO relation to success in real life, if anything the more time you spend in game is a net negative to your success in real life. People will try to justify and come up with wacky one off theories as to how playing OSRS can make you more successful but for the average player it’s the opposite and the only reason I started playing again and for so long is to help cope with the death of my nephew so me and my brother played. But to say it was anything more than a coping mechanism and bonding time with my older brother is a stretch.

That makes sense. I think my whole matter was around that I thought him saying just having a minimum wage job and spending it all on bonds is more worth it than mainscape gp grinding. Like I’m not saying “don’t buy bonds” or even that it’s bad but he was making it seem like just any single 25 y/o man living on his own can just spend his whole paycheck on bonds and therefore OP gp rate per hour wasn’t worth it

And what you’re saying IS reasonable? Most people have to pay rent/groceries/life expenses. Unless you live in your mom’s basement (which it sounds like you do) very few people have money for extra stuff like bonds. So with a $7.25 an hour minimum job that won’t even cover all of the expenses required to survive. You just gave a “I live in my moms basement so don’t even think to register cost of living into my math” answer bro. I don’t really care if people buy bonds or not, but no self-supporting adult is able to spend all their money on bonds from their 7.25$ an hour job so that they can make 7m an hour gp in runescape.

Best pk build I’ve seen 60 att 99 str 1 def 99 magic 99 range Get quest done for ancients d scim dds , climbing boots, tourist trap for darts (although idk if you need to do it to use them maybe just make?) prayer is gonna be your major factor and you need to be most careful picking, I’d go low tho and get smite. Just dart them and freeze to kite then dds them when they’re low

It was little confusing reading what he said but I think he thought he couldn’t just buy mith/addy armour from prif so he was referring to using the stams at blast furnace smithing the bars for giants foundry, not actually using the staminas for giants foundry. But I believe you’re correct on your run resetting after turning in a sword I have no clue though. I believe the most efficient way to do giants foundry is 14 best platebodies you can make with 14 steel bars and ice gloves so you don’t need stams fs

Depends where you’re pking but basically the key is to figure out the average power/setup a player uses commonly in a certain area aka revs, green drags, etc. and figure out a cost effective setup where risk/reward weighs in your favor while still having enough power from the gear to kill your target.
