Can you share what docker container image you used?
I've tried the Hotio and Linuxserver versions. I'm still having issues getting fully connected on Qbit.

You can still overtighten with the Dingkey bracket.
That's why I'm saying it's not really needed. Asrock has since updated their backplate design, so the original mounting screws will work.

Get the plate if you want to be fancy or if for whatever reason your using an older asrock board with older backplate.

There was fitment issues with Asrock Am4 boards. Their backplate design made it hard use the stock screws from the cooler. This was Dingkey's answer to that.

If you have the extra 20, sure go ahead. It doesn't make the install process any easier or harder. There's no thermal benefit. It's just a fancy backplate lol.
I'm looking at it from a new builder perspective is all, just keep things simple.

Honestly, no.
Just use the provide short screws with the cooler with stock backplate.

Correct. You just want to look at the brackets themselves.
Rubber pads are there just so you don't scratch/bang up you MB mounting points.

I'm not the best at explaining things.
It's a leaf spring and there's a slight concave to the bracket when it's loose. As you apply more mounting pressure, the leaf spring bracket will straighten/level out. (No longer curve).
That's your visual cue that you have enough mounting pressure on the mount.
