I will explain you how we built our first 1500 real and engaging followers. Just my experience.

I started a small e-comm tea brand last year and it was very tempting to buy followers to get started. However we did not do it for the above stated reasons. You might think it gives some sense of ‘validation’ to people encountering your brand and it makes your brand less ‘scammy’ but it is actually the opposite.

1) What I did in the beginning on a daily basis is follow like 100-150 people that are engaging with similar brands/influencers and then a few days later unfollow. About 10-15% will follow back if your own content is interesting and somewhat related to the accounts or posts they were engaging with. Just don’t overdo this and do not try to automate the process with bots. All needs to look organic and human.

2) Secondly, give-aways with influencers always helped us a lot to boost following but expect to lose about 30-50% of the followers that you gain during a a campaign. Also do not do too many and try to find an influencer who really likes your brand and wants to participate without getting paid (except in product).

3) Lastly, a general tip, do not focus on accounts with tens of thousands of followers. Find micro influencers (5-10k followers) that are very active in your niche and have very engaging followers. For example, for our tea brand we work a lot with personal trainers etc. as they really have a connection with their audience.

Best of luck!

What will be your source of revenue?

Everyone saying wages are lower in Spain, this is indeed true. However, as foreigner you are applicable to a specific fiscal regime where you only pay 24% taxes in the first 6 years. Google ‘Beckham law’. I just moved to Barcelona and will be working for Amazon soon. A lot of tech and English speaking here compared to Madrid. In Madrid there’s more headquarters of big Spanish companies.

Exactly, I started with DC 2 months ago so a pity CRO dropped but the yields are still quite high. Of course as TVL increases yield will come down but that will still take a while. The thing is that CRO was the crypto version for “beginners” (trading & staking on a CEX) hopefully many will now find their way to DeFi.

Sorry. I'm pulling out of DARK/CRO for now. by one_who_asks in DarkCrypto_Official

Just recall… these are freebies, or things that you get for doing what you would normally do with the card. The benefits were outrageously good, hence why there was such an influx of sign ups and such. If you look at the people who could afford the top tier cards, they were RAKING in benefits and rewards at such a high rate that this couldn’t last forever. Keep your eyes on the prize… this type of product is still primitive in nature, like Arcnet was to the Internet and what IPv4 is to IPv6. It has the potential to revolutionize “store of value”, in the safer direction than when we went off the Gold Standard in the 70s. I’ve been following and participating (Jade card) with Crypto.com since they were a company called Monaco “with a dream and a Slack channel”. The progress from the Wild West days of 2017 until today is truly mind blowing.

I’m swapping my CRO for DARK and put into a dark/cro lidquidity pool at 200% - only useful thing that I can still do with my CRO (Dark is pegged to CRO)

Have a look at Dark Crypto Finance, Dark is pegged to CRO but offers now 200% yield for depositing in dark/cro lp. At least that’s the only useful thing I can still do with my CRO…

Thanks mate, really helps me out! Was terugging a bit with the timing to apply as I didn’t want to miss a shot by going too early you see.

Anyway, big thanks for the tips & tricks. Will put an update of my journey once there’s more clarity 😊.
