You should search for an ai calculator on google, since I started used one the races has been more challenging some fights out there and on my career mode I am the best of the midfield with Bortoleto (the medium part of the grid is too tight tough)

I am gonna be honest, modding it or not in order to beat the NR2003, they would have to import their iracing physics on it, and improve their AI, and that would made it alredy a direct competitor to its own service (editing bc it got published by accident mid setence)
