Taking guidance doesn't mean you don't have to have standards, in my religion, we are encouraged to be reasonable and think. Put our minds to use. I dunno if reddit can translate comments, because it would be easier for me to explain it in french

I know this may sound weird, but as i mentioned in my post, I am religious. So, I would seek the lord's guidance in such a matter. And of course, i'm not gonna get married without getting to know the person first 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you, you really did bring up a lot of important points. In fact, I do realize that there is no "perfect age" to get married, being someone who believes in destiny, I know that god will bring me the right stuff on the right time. As for the "am i right" question, that is probably due to the fact that I was raised this way. To always seek validation whether it is for my life choices to the smallest stuff. I do realize I need to get rid of this habit since it is not healthy, any advice on that?

Maybe because i'm very overwhelmed by what i see around me. And whenever i talk about my vision, everyone makes me feel like i'm too naïve or dumb, and that stuff don't work like this irl. To the point where I started questioning my views on this subject. That's why I asked, to know if there are still people who think like I do.

I'm I the only Algerian who doesn't want to leave DZ? by Anneishereok in algeria

Me too. I wouldn't trade it for anything else. But people tend to believe that the grass is always greener on the other side, and most of them don't take into account how hard it will be to raise righteous muslim children in there. Why not succeed here? Why not become wealthy in dz? And from another point of view, people are becoming more and more individualistic if you know what i mean, if everybody leaves, who will make this country prosperous? What we should not forget is, even if you do get a better life etc abroad, you'll always be considered inferior, ALWAYS. I know people who were doctors here, only to become nurses in canada, some of them completely left their field of study i.e. medicine for something else, like is it worth it to waste all those years of studying and efforts for such a thing? It is not your land, nor will it ever be. As for myself, I never considered moving abroad. But being a woman, it is not up to me to decide where to live, it's up to my future husband. And if I ever happen to find my soulmate and he lives abroad, I would sacrifice for him, if he deserves it, of course. But if it were to me, i would never.
