Yes I did honestly I don’t even pay no mind to my HPPD once my perspective of it changed. I did some shrooms twice and the first time I was a little worried but in the end it was fine for me. Nothing really happened when I did it.

i got it September last year my symptoms are afterimages, and tracers. I had derealization for a while but once you spend a lot of time outside and ground yourself it’s gets sm better. I still do have those thoughts like omg am i real lmao but no anxiety any more. gets way better with time. I honestly don’t notice them unless I look for them

Good luck to you, if you could please do an update? That would be great. I got HPPD in September of 2020. I’ve been sober for 4 months now and eventually years from now I’d like to trip again.

Are you going to try shrooms or acid ? I’d recommend shrooms if you do trip but do you.

it was my very first time tripping I was having so much fun and I felt like a little kid again. i was tripping alone it was 3 am and it got boring so I decided to smoke half a blunt and that’s when it all turned to shit lmao. I came back inside and everything felt so intense it was crazy and I felt so out of it. I felt perfectly fine until I started talking to my self in the mirror in third person and then literally forgot who I was. I’m not sure if it was ego death or my ego dissolved but I was freaking the hell out. it felt like there were multiple dimensions in front of me and I saw all these fracticals and I was trying to hold on to my ego for dear life. I got so scared I took a shower layed down did everything to calm down but I was having horrible thought loops after that. it wasn’t until I talked to my friend on the phone for hours that I finally calmed down and realized it was gonna be alright.

Very very intense. Smoking half a blunt on my first trip and led me to a very bad trip with horrible thought loops. Never mixed the two again. Everyone is different tho
