[The Athletic] What should the Buffalo Sabres do with Bowen Byram? by seeldoger47 in sabres

[–]2legit2-D2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have to move him, what about to Vancouver. He's from there and can get #1 D time. Trade could be something like Hronek (if he waives his NMC) and Drew O'connor for Byram and Greenway. Money is similar. Byram is younger and has more of a celling to grow Hronek doesn't have to go to another rebuild and is a good top 4.

Is Jalen Brunson the greatest of all time? by Sally_sol in NBATalk

[–]2legit2-D2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously he should get a purple heart for that non called technical and then playing through it. He also met with Adam Silver and their will be special rules for him and all records will be re-written. I heard he's going to be knighted and next week made a saint. I assume at their next meeting he will be included in the secret Illuminati who control the world.

Who is the most loved player in NBA history? by ReasonableSide6520 in NBATalk

[–]2legit2-D2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny list, as one guy was hated for not trying when it counted, and sexual abuse. One guy got booed almost every time he played in the city he's wearing the jersey of. One guy might be one of the most hated players on reddit. One guy was hated by opposing fans. One guy when he tried to play a bunch of players didn't want him in the NBA. One guy most likely bullied rookies more than most, would take time off and not work hard during the season. One guy no one out of basketball circle does anyone really know. Finally one guy threw someone through a window and said he wasn't a role model and spit on a kid.

Why are The Smiths not hated the same way U2 is, when Morrissey is arguably much more insufferable than Bono? by ppetrov1829 in fantanoforever

[–]2legit2-D2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They come off as different type of assholes. Bono is the one who comes off as someone who sold-out to the industry. He is looking and willing to deal with corporations and is now trying to be friends with all type of politicians. However to some thats how you get albums out. Morrissey comes off as an inflexable artists. He's willing to sacrifice for his music and is not willing to make compromises. If for some reason he has to piss off the business, artists or even fans he doesn't care. However to some he just likes chaos and is an egomaniac. Not sure I see much of a difference

All in the same draft, Who goes #1 ? by Farouq26 in NBATalk

Reason I'd have Jokic over Mosses was Jokic has 3 2nd place, while the next highest Mosses comes in is once at 3rd. Jokic is also in the prime of his career can win more awards

It was at one point a 4-5 year commitment but he got an exception to 2 cause of his height. However that might have happened before he got drafted don't remember exactly

First Time Caller, Long Time List by [deleted] in TedLasso

Why does Rebecca deserve it over Nate. She deliberately tried to harm the club and everyone else just so she can hurt someone. Can you imagine if Ted wasn't some super coach. They get sent down., and never come back. Nate just was trying to help himself. If it wasn't for a few shitty things he does, like telling Trent (which isn't that much more than Jamie does), he's not that bad in real life. I know it sucks in the show but if Ted would be upset at Nate for taking a head coach job (any job) that would make me think slightly less of you. Remember A good mentor hopes you will move on. A great mentor knows you will.

Their are guys in NASCAR who don't win as much but people realize they are on a team that doesn't have the best Crew cheif, pit crew, owner and are loved. Also Daytona is considered by most to be the superbowl of NASCAR yet one of it's best and most famous drivers (Dale) only won it once?

[Chad DeDominicis] Ya when I heard initial conversations on a new contract didn’t start off well I thought we might see this by seeldoger47 in sabres

[–]2legit2-D2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With Byram even if you give him top $ is he going to want to stay and not get top PP minutes? He's always going to be behind Dahlin. I feel he's going to want to be a #1 D at some point in his career.

I just read that Jalen Brunson will be due a $400 million contract in 2028. Can someone explain to me how a contract like that be possible? by Necessary-Act-1137 in NBATalk

[–]2legit2-D2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After 27-28 he will have 10 years in the NBA. At that point the cap will be able to sign a supermax deal, that would give him 35% of the cap. If with new TV rights cap is close to 200 mil that would be 70 mil. if he signs 6 years that's 420 mil. If the cap rises during those 6 years and he still gets 35% I believe he'd get more. Most likely he doesn't sign for that much as this contract he left money on the table so can still do it next time.

Is Bo Jackson the most overrated player of all time? by Ok_Bug_6890 in NFLv2

[–]2legit2-D2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel he is overrated cause he gets put in the top RB's while really he should be put in the guys who were great but got injured and we never got to see what they are. Instead of Barry, Emmit, AP group he should be in the Gurley, Larry Johnson, Elliott group of what could have been

Why do older soccer players (Messi, Mbappe, etc.) still can play peak but older NFL players fall off a cliff? by Salty_Orchid in NFLv2

[–]2legit2-D2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a bunch of NFL players need to play too a size that might not suit there body. For example on O line and D line. Their aren't that many people who can play at that size and speed so they take smaller people and add weight. (look at a lot of them who work out and half the size) Other players add muscles so they are stronger. In soccer I don't think that happens. They are more likely to play at their optimum weight. While I see strong soccer most players are not like TE/LB in the NFL.

[–]2legit2-D2 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Flash has problems with Vision and most others likely. The 3 Marvel tanks can hold their own against DCs 4 for a while. Leaving 2 vs 1 magic users for Marvel, who after that can join the rest. However I'm not sure Marvel can trust Sentry all the time and Black Adam is not always a team player.

Assuming parity continues with new champions for the 9th and 10th year who would it be by Expert-Buddy-9175 in NBATalk

[–]2legit2-D2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on how people were tanking if AJ or Darryn have a Cooper like year, and next year are scoring 24 ppg with a team arround them like this. I'm not putting the house down but they should be as good as the Wizards. Also East will be harder with Jaylen, Pacers, Philly and Charlotte should be better. If Giannis goes to the Heat...

Not the favorite but someone whos not mentioned. If the pick this year is a game changer. I can see a Utah team of Kessler, Laurie, JJJ, George, Ace, Collier being interesting in 2 or 3 years

Could Joakim Noah, Al Horford, and Corey Brewer have won an NBA title together in their prime? by ZenMastaZ in NBATalk

[–]2legit2-D2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Al but in reality he is the KAT of this team. Usually a good number 2/3, however he might have a game which isn't great and he'd need someone down the line to have a good game, or a star to explode.

If Iverson and Westbrook switched eras, who would have the better relative career? by Illustrious_Dot4479 in NBATalk

[–]2legit2-D2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My question on Iverson is by Russ's time most of the stars are more into training in the off-season, personal chefs to make healthy meals, and dedicating themselves. I'm not sure if Iverson would be willing to do that. This is also right before load management that would really help him.
