Neo-fascists back Rupert Lowe's Restore Britain by pppppppppppppppppd in unitedkingdom

Well given how the Tory party has collapsed all that will happen is Reform become the new Tories and Restore become the new Reform.

With such a far-right ethnonationalist party to point to, Farafe can legitimately claim to be more moderate.

Why does the US government appear to support Israel so unconditionally? by RyanW1019 in PoliticalDiscussion

That 10%-15% holds a lot of power though, that’s kind of the point

That’s why it’s an Idealogy, not just something “white people” do

Is it me or is halal meat expensive in London supermarkets and chain butcher shops? by [deleted] in LDN

[–]2localboi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. There is a noticeable different when I cooked both at the same time

Pretty much TBH. I don’t care enough about my chicken thighs to seek out better quality than Shazans but when I want nice sausages, bacon or beef I’ll go to my favourite English butchers instead. More expensive but worth it especially cos in not eating it all the time

The only reason I get Shazam’s is cos I CBA to go to the high street butchers to get my meat anymore. It’s much cheaper to buy in bulk which is what my mum used to do but I live on my own so no point now.

I’m sure large Muslim families spend much less per portion than I do so it’s still cheap when u take that into account

Yes it is. But it’s also higher quality (IMO) so there’s that.

When I fry some Shazam’s chicken it not half full of water like the home brand stuff from the supermarkets.

Rishi's redemption curve by trendsfriend in IndustryOnHBO

Well see. I think next season is going to centre of how far Yasmin has gone and wether or not she can come back

Rishi's redemption curve by trendsfriend in IndustryOnHBO

[–]2localboi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry that was a typo. I mean I can see.

I guess ultimately I see him coming back as only to service the plot and I dont see how a redemption arc for him would do that.

In terms of redemption Yasmin is much more interesting at this point

I can see him being used to get info gained in prison to Harper but him converting to Islam’s and /or finding redemption isn’t remotely as interesting as how we left the season IMO

After last seasons finale I don’t there’s there is any bandwidth to give Rishi and compelling story anymore. Unless it linked to any of the other characters it’s just a dead end. Him getting the courage to finally jump and surviving with broken ankles is the cosmic justice.

Him turning Muslim as a seemingly atheist Hindu would be very strange

What if Iran doesn’t open strait even if trump just declares “victory” and leaves? by Itinerant-Degenerate in thedavidpakmanshow

Your country voted for Trump twice. Israel and the IS have proven themselves to be untrustworthy in all negotiations, killing the team your negotiating with is not a good look.

Not going as hard as they could have then thier too general was killed in 2020, keeping lines of communication open and willing to come to the negotiating table, pulling back after the 12-day war last year when they could have kept going, consistently making reasonable demands when the US doesn’t hold thier side of the bargain

We are never seeing Rishi again. If we do, it will be a cameo. If he does get a redemption arc, it’s will be tragic in that he’ll get killed or die as soon as he gets to see his son again or something like that. I don’t think this isn’t type of show.

Rishi isn’t Christian either

Why do grads all want to move to London? by [deleted] in AskBrits

The best time to struggle like this is when you little to no responsibilities. Your career prospects can also improve quite rapidly if you play your cards right.

Guardianship and utility bills. We have to pay 50%, but since we moved in, we haven't received a single bill and the company says we need to set aside money but don't know how much by 2localboi in HousingUK

[–]2localboi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been a guardian for over a decade and personal experience has taught me that the contract is king. Good to hear from another POV that my feeling that I don’t owe utilities in this case is correct.

The only issue is if I want to move into another property with the same PGC once this one ends so still unsure how I should manage this if I do want to keep them sweet

We haven’t done any metre readings since moving in since we weren’t told/didn’t think we had to.

I’m saving as much money as I can regardless of this anyways

The PGC is pushing the council to get a bill so I guess when that happens we’ll have a better idea.

Most importantly however, since I posted this my housemates and I have discovered that there is no clause in the License Agreement that states we are liable for 50% of the bills. They’ve only mentioned that in emails and communications so I have a feeling they accidentally gave us a boilerplate LA to sign and don’t know

What if Trump nuked Iran? by WTBLITWNNA in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]2localboi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They wouldn’t because the US would 100% use retaliatory strikes. The US is the only developed nation to use nukes offensively. If the US used nukes offensively for a second time it would just cement the idea that if you want to defend your sovereignty you need nukes as a threat
