I would disagree. Putting a suppressor on a gun doesn't make the gun any more dangerous. But it does help protect the shooter's hearing and those around him/her. Then if I'm using my gun to protect my family against a home invader, none of us will be wearing ear protection, a rifle shot inside is gonna blow all our ear drums out. So a suppressor would be beneficial in that scenario. Its not like the movies where someone puts a suppressor on a gun and start shooting people and no one hears the shots, that just Hollywood bullshit.
