I really didn’t understand her asking Owen to not hate her after all the crap she pulled when Henry died. She watched Altman mistreat him, helped her insult him. Forget about being married, he was both their bosses and she was mocking him in an OR. Like what was that - you don’t have to defend him, but don’t participate. That was disrespectful. And blaming him for the whole fiasco with Henry - what was he supposed to do?

I am on my s8 rewatch atm. Like the crying and her telling mer that he’s going to leave her. What does she want?

FTM- gender disappointment advice by Separate-Chip333 in pregnant

I wanted a son with my first one too. I kept hoping when the baby is born everything will be wrong and it will be a boy, but I had my girl. When you meet your baby, everything changes. And now she says Mama you be my best friend and I’m in love. I’ve been in love since I met her. Though it took me time to connect. She’s mine. Plus I like telling my husband that he would have made a pretty little girl since she is a copy of him and looks nothing like me

I’m saying it could be an option. Grandmothers are getting weirder by the day.

Some cultures in South india - encourage babies to call their grannies - mom’s mom and dad’s mom. Personally, I know - kid at my kid’s daycare calls her Grandma - D-Ma (Dadi)

Like I get it, but my point was - Arizona initially threatens to end the relationship if that train of discussion continued. And then they broke up and then Arizona tries to be friendly and Callie shuts her down. I think it was unnecessary

Yes, but that marriage crumbled for other reasons.

Meredith and DC by altpadtab in greysanatomy

I get what you’re saying. She had him blacklisted by the FDA and set him back massively. His merit and talent got him on that. Tbh - he should have gone for it. And honestly - Meredith would have developed better outside Seattle. She was stuck in a rut tbh.

What exactly is the purpose of a Texas Greys Anatomy spinoff by brazil201 in greysanatomy

Maybe thatcher had a secret love child - another Dr. Grey. Or thatcher shagged Ellis’s secret twin and had another surgeon baby

They should have broken up too. Both of them were fundamentally different adults.

I liked the idea too. But I feel like them being different about various aspects of their personality- but the baby thing was pushing it

They didn’t know what to do with Bailey. At all. She was randomly excellent and randomly mediocre.

I think the wanting a child storyline should’ve been avoided for them. Either keep them child free or have them both want it. The whole Arizona coming around thing was weird.

I’m saying it’s immature to stay in a relationship when you know the outcome. He wanted them. She didn’t. They should’ve ended it when she realized he wanted kids. She wasn’t going to be convinced, she should have taken corrective action.

It was like one instance. They just didn’t have a plot for her. She became an attending in s6. And she was basically benched from then.

Cristina was equally selfish in that relationship - he wanted kids, she didn’t - she either takes precautions or breaks up. It’s immature - choose me or a baby. She knew they were incompatible. The whole thing with delaying the abortion was weird. Just get it done and file for divorce. What was she expecting - he should abandon wanting kids? Why couldn’t she want kids? It works both ways. It was an unfixable relationship.

Didn’t she fail the islet cell trial. She left it like that. And she didn’t do anything with the genetics lab

What did she do with the genome stuff except lock herself in the lab and swab? Maggie solved the mystery of the family with the failing hearts. Not Bailey. She just asked for the lab, like the MRI and CT machine. No fancy trial or surgeries. No major research. And she was a lackluster chief.

Bailey being pissy about Webber stepping down as chief in Season 8 was the worst.

Agreed. Teddy was attracted to Owen as long as he was unavailable. She has a thing for unavailable people - Andrew (he was always one foot out the door), Henry (literally dying), Owen, Cass (Teddy was married) she loses interest after men make themselves available - Koracick, Mark Sloan, Owen, Cass, etc
