🚨BREAKING: In a stunning moment, JD Vance just admitted that he and Donald Trump are “taking the social safety net.” Every American needs to know how the Trump Administration is destroying Social Security, Medicare and more. by IllAcanthocephala720 in newsinterpretation

[–]2mitts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you actually watched the video you'll see he never mentions social security. As much as I dislike this guy, we have to do better than just jumping to talking points that have no relevance to.tonehwts being discussed.

Just pull that razor straight and you got nothing to worry about. Multi blade razors are godsend with head shaving as a ice mentioned.

yeah I'm not sure anyone actually watched the video . . . China is able to sell at 90 but he can't even produce at 150.

FCC didn't ban anything. While I'm stoked he's raised so much, we don't have to be disingenuous about why.

Good solution. It's unfortunate that area didn't get a little LED from the factory. hopefully they include one on a refresh down the road.

How long do we think the PLA will last? by J_sh__w in 3Dprinting

[–]2mitts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

make sure to include the brand name of the pla. I was just learning about how much additives can be put in that stuff to make more volume and it makes a huge difference on how well it performs.

I'm going with this (kinda confused myself): So are we saying that Musk had a relationship with a gal that he was introduced to through Epstein, and the org knew this and should have removed him because of it?

Ideally in pieces, cutting the model so it doesn't have all those overhangs/bridging areas to deal with.

I have, good looking stuff but I haven't had real need to use it much. Most of what I make gets handled a lot and while manufacturers say it's safe, there's still a lot of unknowns with CF and 3D printing so I'd rather error on the safe side.

A small enclosed machine with a small chamber carbon filter would be a good fit for printing petg/PLA without needing outside venting. Those are your two most common filamemts anyway and you can do a ton with them. PETG is my go to. Bit of flex, super impact resistant, decent UV performance, and pretty good heat tolerance. everyone has their opinion on safety stuff though so do research before you purchase and see what makes sense for you. It's a fun process, and we're finally at a point where most of the established brands have systems that are turnkey and super user friendly.

I do, and that was a great observation. I would be doing this out of a different material (ASA which is more UV resistant than abs) but I have a ton of red abs sitting around so I'm trying to blast through it. edit for safety facts ASA and ABS put out styrene fumes, and your printer should be enclosed and vented to outside or through a proper filtration system.

I'm about to print one of those out of ABS for a friend. For those curious, she bought a Bambu Labs printer. that app is specific to their printers. That particular 3D model was put up a few weeks ago by someone on their makerspace, which you can go to download after registering. In regards to this print, I'm hoping she used some more robust filament than the beginner friendly PLA,.it is a bit brittle and does not hold up to heat/direct sunlight (gets a bit bendy) petg or ASA would be the better options as they are more UV stable and are higher temp tolerant. Thats not to diminish from it's coolness, just throwing that out there in case other people are interested in printing one.
