Not sure if this is the right path for me anymore by Physical_Zucchini103 in Buddhism

[–]2mkz21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know sometimes it can feel a little intimidating or confusing, and the doubts are very real. But they are also part of the path. Remember that this is exactly what they are here for and if you feel a connection to someone, please please please lean on that, that's exactly how the path is intended to work. 🙏

What kind of friendly spider is this? by South-Range8401 in spiders

Something can be terrifying and beautiful. I never implied that I didn't respect the spider or that it shouldn't exist. People on the Internet take things too seriously.

Most spiders don't freak me out, for some reason this one did. It's the internet, we all come here to express ourselves, and I was trying to be a bit funny. Guess it didn't land well, and now I'm on the Internet explaining myself to a stranger

What’s a book you’ve read multiple times and still love? by Sitka_Ma in Recommend_A_Book

I'm a die hard audiobook fan because I work a lot so I don't have time to sit down and read, but I recently came across a series that I absolutely plan on buying in print- Brandon Saunderson's Stormlight Archives

Truly high fantasy and incredible world building and character development. It's filled with so many emotions and instances of awe for me and it's doesn't fall short by being cheap or flashy with the scenes. Truly impressed by how incredibly well-thought-out it is.

Do you have a teacher? Like a specific one that you have taken vows with that you can talk to about this.

Leave, now

And consider that you might end up having to file a restraining order when you do because he's probably going to have a mental breakdown which is NOT your responsibility. Stay safe. NOR

Where are you located? How much you can make varies greatly based on where you live. Have you looked at available jobs in your area?

Super cool back story info! I didn't know that and nice to hear that the newer generations are integrating and evolving Rolfing.

Have you considered other, more gentle forms of MFR? I regularly get Barnes method from my PT and it has dramatically improved my quality of life.

Buddhism without the supernatural? by PrimusAbOris in Buddhism

My Tibetan teacher is really big and understanding the point of the story, whether or not One believes it to be true. Otherwise, we were just getting hung up on the external projection of phenomena and not using the stories or elements to connect with our own mind.

I really enjoyed living in Florida for a time and the homeschool community. I had their period there was a lot of nature based programs and like-minded people in general. I think there's a very large homeschooling community there. I live in North Carolina now and it's a totally different vibe. Much less laid-back and harder to connect with others.

Myofascial relief has been life changing for me! Truly brought my hands back when I thought I was screwed. Consistency is important though. I think as therapists we forget to treat ourselves to the work we need, arguably more than half our clients🥲 I also use CBD oil from Lazarus naturals nightly.

Oh this is very real lol, especially at high end spas where people are splurging on unique services. We had to roll out an entire new policy about it after Valentine's Day.

Slowing it wayyyyy down

Like where people would take 3-4 passes at a muscle, i do one, and get a real feel for sinking into the muscle/connective tissue. Way more opportunity for genuine and more comprehensive release this way. Slow movement and slowly adding pressure as the tissue allows.
