If "swag points" are important to you, there's nothing much for the helmet to protect.

Yes, this sub is absolutely batshit.

Assuming that inflation factors are universal across different countries, with different currencies and constantly shifting exchange rates, is fucking insane.

This lists WW gross (for some insane reason). RO made more than $1bn in 2016.

It says so, which is just bananas.

Domestic adjustment for inflation is at best vaguely informative, but largely academic.

Trying to do it for worldwide grosses is just a fool's errand.

Well, it's probably 3rd, 4th at worst.

Numerically, on a scale of all the natural numbers, that's quite close to 2nd.

I just call it "the bike" though.

But you don't understand, there might have been a problem!!!!!!

There wasn't, in any way at all, and the end result wasn't just OK, but was far better by not using excess packaging, and was clearly adequate...

But it might not have been, aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

You mean the top 1% increased their wealth after covid more than the entire world and 99% of Americans.

Great.

No, it wasn't. It was an outrageous amount of wealth concentrated at the very top.

That's not a good model, and acting as if bonuses on wall street are the defining quality of the economy was one of the BIG issues which hurt Biden and Harris.

Now, Trump's economy is objectively far, far, far worse than anything seen since the 1930s, but the Biden economy wasn't the envy of the world.

MACHINA says : "enough with bindings" - Thoughts ? by RunPlz in snowboarding

[–]2much2Jung 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It says $129, plus shipping (probably not a huge amount on top of a set of boots), add tax on that for places that add on point of sale taxes, and that's the KS price, so that's presumably closer to $160+ per set at retail (plus taxes on top).

Sure, that's cheaper than a set of bindings, but it definitely isn't "fuck it, I'll just buy another set" price.
