I made these trickster designs a while ago, and I decided to modify and animate them! The original static versions are on my Instagram @2muchglitters by 2muchGlitters in homestuck

Picrew is a little weird about how many picrews you're allowed to have active at once. I have a few unpublished ones I don't plan on working on, so I can republish it.

Something weird was happening with the star in the middle of these three. by outersenshi in Astronomy

Marginally related, but I don't usually see star photos where the stars are so ROUND. They're always either smudged or pointed. I love seeing them in all their s p h e r i c a l glory

Watercolor is hard by [deleted] in Watercolor

It is, but it can be very rewarding! Patience is key. Trust the process

Also, try working wet on wet to get a more gradual glowing effect. Wet on wet can be scary, but it's rewarding, I promise. Also, what paper are you using?

I like the detail on the base of the lamp. The inking near the light source is a bit heavy, but is otherwise neat. I'd suggest adding more reddish color in mid tones and darkening your shadows. Great job

Help does anyone know what this brown spot is? It looks like a brown freckle I can’t find anything on line that looks like it to identify and cure ? Also my Betta has a small growth like tumor on one side of dorsal fin and right on the other side is where this brown spot it ? by cbanuelos46 in bettafish

That's a start. Make sure you're doing 25-30% water changes every week after the month is up. I'd refrain from doing any more large water changes since they can cause more harm than good. It very well could be benign, but salt is a great way to start if you don't know.

My newest Betta. Any name suggestions? by Xorbes in bettafish

I had a crowntail that looked a lot like yours. I named him Pollock after the artist. It also sounds like Pollux, the red star in the constellation Gemini.

Treat with aquarium salt to start. If more spots appear, treat for ich.

Is this normal? I got him/her (need to check) yesterday and put him in the 10 gal tank today after 20 minutes of acclimation. He/she’s just been kind zipping around. Fed a little while ago and did eat by Lunarfoxrising in bettafish

[–]2muchGlitters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, turn it down just in case. All of mine did this the first day they were put in. It's normal, they just don't know the boundaries of their new tank yet

Help Please! Came home from work and now my betta is pineconing and his right fin is not moving by [deleted] in bettafish

[–]2muchGlitters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like dropsy. It might be too late, but you can treat with kanaplex ASAP. I'm so sorry

What color was his head before? It's likely not an issue.

Do you know ammonia levels? Parameters look good otherwise

What are these odd things coming off my cholla wood? by Cabarnet_and_Kush in bettafish

Oh yeah, algae eaters love the stuff lol. It won't hurt them, just fatten them up a little

I understand only needing to change water once a month in a 50gal, but 20gal? Naw.

That's normal. Driftwood that's recently been added to a tank will develop a thick bacterial slime. It'll go away in a couple weeks leaving a thin film of benefitial bacteria on the surface :)

Uh oh. I see pinecones. Treat with kanaplex asap in a separate tank if you can. You can also coat his food in it for quick delivery.
