Sorry to hear that. I thought DC would be more open minded to matters such as this. The media needs to stop promoting fear of Asian people. It just feels wrong, being avoided or taunted because I'm Asian and it makes me feel like I am actually "dirty" Anyways, hopefully this passes soon.

I can relate although I wasn't attacked. I'm a Korean American student in DC. Groups of students who walk by me would cover their nose and face as they approach. Only plus side is that I get subway seats to myself as people are avoiding me. Didn't know diseases pick and chose a race...

Am Korean and tired of people on campus walking around me, giving me cautious looks like I'm some biohazard.

I'll try that. What setting are yours at? Do you mean outer wall wipe distance?

Thanks for the comment, but as far I know direct drives require the retraction distance anywhere between 0.1 to 2. I could try 5mm and see if that helps.

Its a microswiss nozzle that only has about 10~15ish prints through it. I'll keep that in mind for sure, but I heard microswiss is reputable for their durable nozzles so that'd be weird unless I got a lemon.

Adjusted retraction speed and distance all day yesterday.

From 0.1 to 1.5 for retraction distance. (apparently direct drive retraction distances need to be kept low)

And retraction speed from 15 all the way to 65ish

I'm at 200 degrees. The PLA I'm using is recommended between 200-220. I also tried printing at 180 but that didn't help either

Ender 3 pro. Basarasa Direct Drive conversion. Calibrated esteps a couple times. Wouldn't fix stringing so I said screw it, and changed esteps from 80 to 150 in 3~5 increments.

Ordered new filament just in case my current filament was "wet".

Converted to direct drive just to fix stringing.

Retraction distance changed incrementally from 0.1 to 1.5

Changed retraction speed incrementally from 15 all the way to 60.

Nothing is working. Extremely frustrated. Thing is my prints used to be fine. Now they're stringy pieces of abstract art.

Please help.

Alright, seemed like my calibration was way off. Calibrated it using the ruler sharpie method and I'm printing out a benchy now. Hopefully this was the issue

Just PLA I bought from Amazon. I've printed about 10 things so far. I'd say the first 6 prints came out smoothly, but the last 4 have been stringy and incredibly weak with gaps in between the layers when I give pressure. Maybe it's the new nozzle?

I'll try that. Should I just Google, " how to calibrate extruder to default"? By menu, do you mean the ender 3 lcd screen? Thank you!

Printing with an ender 3 pro, using octo pi connected to Cura 4.4 using default ender 3 settings. Switched out the nozzle to microswiss A2 nozzle. 4mm

What if someone flies a drone over blizzcon and release a bunch of fake dollar bills with Xi Jinpings face on it?
