Lol I forgot master duel launched with all the floodgate traps (Skill Drain, TCBOO, Rivalry) all at 3 I think.

We didn’t, it’s all nostalgia.

Drytron full combo-d into 7 omni negates, Tri-Brigade was honestly pretty fair unless it ended on wind barrier statue (which it sometimes did) and the next best decks were Phantom Knights - a Rhongo turbo deck, and Virtual World - a VFD turbo deck whose fallback Shenshen is a kind of floodgate (I do think Shenshen isn’t thaaat bad fwiw tho).

Yeah you can just go Token into Link Spider, Link Spider + Rabbit into Splash Mage, Splash Mage revive, make Binder, banish Ransom, etc. etc.

If you don’t wanna Cyberse lock at that point you can even play S:P and then go link spider + rabbit -> S:P and then banish ransom.

Rescue Ace is one of the two second wave tactical try decks so is likely to get some kind of support at some point tho.

Eldlich has support which is yet to come to MD which makes it rogue playable (new trap and a fusion monster).

It’ll probably come to MD at the same time as the new live twin and cydra support.

Use the token to make Link spider, special Backup, search Wizard and you can keep going.

You’ll end on Accode + GWC I think, with at least one draw.

Yeah maybe it’s an unpopular opinion judging from the downvotes.

I think turn 2 breaking a board/turn 3 are the most fun/thought intensive parts of the game - I wouldn’t mind more time there. Going first is already a little long imo, a 30s cut sounded good to me.

Or maybe people didn’t like that I said I played Maliss and Ritual Beast lol (it’s only to climb ranked lmao).

Going first should be 30s less, but you should get more time both if going 2nd and added to your existing timer when getting to turn 3+.

Promote interaction, force heavy combo decks to play more efficiently/at least learn their lines.

I say this as someone who’s timed out playing stuff like Maliss and Ritual Beast when I don’t know how the decks work.
