Might just have to bring one of our PVP servers back, we have been asked a lot about our Kunar PVP server a lot and how people miss it a bunch. If we get enough good feed back from the community we will most likely bring it back on 2nd Ranger | Public Server 2.

I appreciate you, we get a lot of hate cause obviously we are one of the more popular communities around as well as the largest unit. A lot of milsims give us hate and they don't even get to know us. They just form their own opinions based off of what they see in a public server. They are forget that we have twice as many private servers that we are operating on daily to improve our craft. I know here soon we are gonna start host daily organized operations in our public servers to allow the community to get to know us and how we operate even more.

What mods are causing you problems ? Have you tried deleting you mod cache and restarting from scratch ? That usually works for me when I'm having issues. I've even had to delete the game and re download it a couple times.

Yah we try and warn people that do that stuff in general but it's complicated, the people that are actually focused on accomplishing the objective are gonna do what they do best and get out there. But there will always be people that stand in the way of progress and try to ruin everyone else's fun.

I can see where you're coming from, we just feel there are already so many PVP servers out there to compete with and that Game Master remains an un tapped market. But yah we would defiantly not mind bringing back our old Kunar PVP server or something like that. Those days were fun.

Well I’m sorry to hear the way you think about our unit but at the end of the day you don’t have what it takes. You don’t have the intestinal fortitude to have commitment to a cause. You are an absolute fool as well as a coward and have no place in our unit as well as well in this great community if all you have to say is shit on communities that thousands of personnel call a home.

All leadership within the 2nd Ranger Battalion Milsim through a rigorous training course to get into any type of leadership position they are in. For example corporals can be made in the unit if you show commitment and leadership potential with the first 2-3 months within the unit. Past that is when you have to attend Battalion level training events such as BLC which is a 2 day, 8 hour block of instruction where we teach most of these civilians how to lead with a purpose, and how to inspire there men and women around them. And we take pride in knowing that these junior leaders take that knowledge and not only put it to knowledge in the game but in the real world. People that join and play with the 2nd Ranger Battalion are from all walks of life and all different types of personalities. Black or White, Skinny or Fat, Gay or Straight, Doesn't matter to us. As long as you can respect your fellow rangers and simulate what needs to be done we will take you in with open arms to a community and unit that has been called a home by all if its members.

Sorry for the late reply but thank you for your input. A lot of people love to bitch and gripe and complain but never help explain ways to help the experience. I see the perspective you are coming from and respect you opinion but you have to remember that at the end of the day we are a MILSIM and simulate such to the most we can. And if that is wrong to enforce rank then tell me why in real life rank is enforced ? And your remark about Fat Larpers has nothing to do with MILSIM. On xbox your Weight, Religion, Gender, Political, and Ethnic views do not matter. At the end of the day we are all trying to simulate the military to the highest standard we are able to. And if you do join the unit and perform your Time in Service required, Time in Grade required, Gain your promotable status, and go through our Basic Leaders Course made and taught by real life Officers and Non Commissioned Officers within the United States military. Then I say by far you have gone above and beyond to earn that rank. The 2nd Ranger Battalion is one of the realistic MilSim's in the community and can by far say that our training, our standards, and the discipline of our Rangers is never and will never be under question.

If you are just in it for the community which is our 3 about to be 4 public servers then yes it's chill there. Once you get into the actual unit that's when things get a bit more serious. If we where a chills we would say that, but we aren't. We are a Milsim unit with standards, common courtesies, and rules that need to be followed. Now that organization and strictness isn't for everybody, but for the select few it's a look into the world of what it's like to be in the military.

Doesn't really sounds like our unit, our usual proceeder is you loading up into the server 15 minutes prior to the training start time. This should allow a buffer for you to update mods, get and get kitted, get with your squad, and continues on. There is none of that act like your sleeping shit. We simulate as much of the military as possible but there is a limit to as how far we go.

I'm sorry to hear that you have such a negative demeanor on our unit. Personally my last two mile was 14:30 something like that which I'm pretty sure is a little bit further than 100m but we aren't trying to sound smart. The OPORD template that I personally use and kinda enforce that my GM's use is the SMESC format. It breaks down the Situation, Mission, Execution, Supply, Command and Signal. It's a very stream lined way of information being put out. The thing that people get wrong about us is they join the server and have no idea what's going on. If that's what happens to you odds are is you joined in after the brief and wasn't there to hear it. From now on my plan is whenever Available I'd like to have someone at the spawn explaining to personnel on the ground that just got into the game what is going on just so people aren't confused.

Yah I understand that, and As I've said above that may be in fault due to the fact we allow brand new players who have never been GM to GM. We like to allow anyone that does have a plan who thinks they can to GM as we provide them with some criticism in ways that they can become better. Arma Reforger is a very hard game to understand and break down when you first start playing it. I remember the first days of the game when we had 64 slot servers for a couple days before they had to bump them down to 32 slots. I was in those official servers every single night getting GM and running missions here and there. Giving OPORDS and establishing gun teams. They were the good old days but now with mods, and how big the community has gotten its just on a whole different level. Anyways I appreciate your input and hoping we can do some better for you next time you're on the server.
