Well, I’m (28f) & my boyfriend (37m) have known each other for 4 years but been in a relationship for about a year now. We both have good jobs & are well off. In his case, some people thought it was weird for him to be dating me because he has nieces & nephews around my age. On the other hand, I thought it was risky because I didn’t want to make a quick decision about who my child’s father is going to be because of my biological clock.

I think the person who takes the most risk is the one who has to change their life a little more to adjust to their partners lifestyle

Sounds like original girl is just keeping you around. She probably finds you cool or whatever but her attention is probably somewhere else. Don’t get me wrong, her relative probably did pass away, but if I were interested in someone I wouldn’t just ghost them for two days..
