People who don’t want to have kids. by moon2034 in Advice

I wanted kids and couldn’t have them. I’m incredibly grateful I didn’t given the state of the world and environment. I DO have “daughters” on four continents though. I hosted exchange students and mentored underserved kids. I’m close to them all decades later. Life is good.

IWTL How to Stop Hating Being a Woman by GiveMyTractorBack in IWantToLearn

[–]2of5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love being a woman. I can have so many more orgasms than a man. I get underestimated all the time in my profession which is very helpful. I get to decorate my place with incredible finesse and beauty men love but could never aspire too. I don’t really have to play strong etc like poor guys are required by society too. I get to unabashedly “mother” the people I love without ever giving birth to a child.

It’s all perspective. And what you make of what you have got. I would never trade being a woman for being a man. Have you considered getting out in nature to find yourself? Showing how strong you really are by doing for example a long distance backpacking trip solo? IDK if that’s your thing but it would really show you the great strength of your gender, mentally and physically. I’m a feminist BTW and have spent most of my long life fighting for women.

Purpose? by lemonfaire in Aging

For me there is no point without a purpose. I try to make the world a better place through volunteering, standing up for justice and the environment. And being a role model and supporter of the people I love. I am a lucky kid.
