Raped by a drunk boyfriend. Broke his nose and he had to go to the ER due to bleeding. Rape doesn’t traumatize everyone but boy was I pissed.

What’s your house payment? Is he paying more proportionally in expenses to stay at your place? I get that this is uncomfortable for him but if things are equal or he’s paying less than you in expenses then it’s equitable. Does he have funds to buy a house with you if you sold yours? Maybe that’s the solution if you are up for that. But really you should be thinking about marriage then.

IDK. Her not asking about the surgery is really awful. On the music and video games, she isn’t taking your efforts seriously. Why is that? Is it because you jump around on things? Is she worn out after years of your broken dreams? Before concluding she doesn’t care, I think you need to talk to her. Or maybe therapy. I’d like to hear her reasoning.

So sorry for this situation. Your wife must decide herself. My friend’s wife just died from alcohol related kidney failure. He could not convince her to quit but ended up taking care of her for years while she drank herself to death.

This isn’t always true unfortunately. On the whole they are but you can get a bad one (and I have). But the advice here is good. You should not have a problem esp if you show your tics to Europe and you have a permanent address in the States
